@@alexcameron2352 Funny they aren’t really “accomplishments” though. MacDaniel won an Oscar, she still had to enter through the Service Entrance. She still has to sit at a segregated table. Hell, she was still denied a plot in the Hollywood Cemetery because she was black. Also, he seems to suggest the Civil Rights movement only got traction because of Hollywood. His speech is nothing more than patting himself (and the rest of Hollywood) on the back.

The only one the Oscar deserved to go to this year was JAKE GYLLENHAAL for his heartbreaking performance in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. I knew his work before that movie, but never paid much attention to him. Since playing Jack Twist he has earned a LIFETIME FAN in me. Wanted him to win more than anyone else.

I love Trey Parker and Matt Stone... they are geniuses in not just their own way. Being able to rightfully shit all over Hollywood is the reason why they can touch upon traits that have been brought up since the ancient Greeks.

2 years later, George and Philip Seymour Hoffman (who won Best Actor at this ceremony) were nominated for Oscars again in the opposite categories to the ones they won in here. George for Michael Clayton and Philip for Charlie Wilson's War with neither winning. Oddly enough, both ceremonies were hosted by Jon Stewart.

I have only seen Jake Gyllenhaal and George Clooney but seriously, Clooney's performance in Syriana was quite good while Gyllenhaal's performance was absolutely gorgeous. Jake Gyllenhaal is so underrated. I like George Clooney in interviews, he seems very sympathetic, but I don't think he's a great actor. He mostly does the same roles. I think he just won this because he has lots of friends in the business and because his role in Syriana was not the typical Clooney-role.

+Angel Trigoso Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions and ideas. And, choosing the best one among great artists is quite subjective and that's why I respect everyone's opinion. Of course, 'Paul' was great in #CinderellaMan and that's why he won SAG Award & Critics' Choice Award for his performance! One piece of advice is that you can write a comment about your favorite one on your own; writing under other people's comments who has different opinion from yours doesn't improve anything.
