He was like a fine wine. Just got better with age. Golden voice, a smile that lit up his face, the cheeky wink- OMG. RIP GEORGE. SUE

George had the most incredible voice. His voice flowed like a beautiful wine. His smile lit up the stage and also made you feel special. I've just realized that Goerge and I both shared our birthday. My 66th is in 2 days here in New Zealand on this day I will remember the big man from Celtic Thunder. R.I.P. George.

How can one miss this man when I have never met him? Easy! His eyes shine with his Spirit!❣️

I only came a cross celtic thunder about 3 years a go in here when Christmas 1915 came on, and I fell in love with them,was so sad to read that George had died,what a wonderful guy, there ny favourite

My first time hearing George was in If Birds Had Wings with 14 yr. Old Damian McGinty. I love this song and still listen to it. After hearing that song, I researched to find Celtic Thunder, and the rest is history. Then soon after, I learned George passed away. I was devastated. I love his voice, the twinkle in his eye, his sense of humor, and the care he had for the other singers. RIP George, you are sorely missed. Much love….

I have commented before, but every time I hear this I am reminded what a fine man George Donaldson was in this life. He exemplified what a man should be. l know that's why God wanted him nearer to Him than being on this earth would allow.

Cannot believe he's gone. I loved this man, his voice, his joyful personality and his awesome performances. As the saying goes,, God takes the best and the young first, but I don't understand God's reasonings, as he took my husband at 40 years old from me. I believe God has a reason and I know we will all understand one day when we are with our love one's one day. My love, prayers and thoughts are with his wonderful wife and precious daughter. I pray God gives you peace. I will miss you George. Rest in Peace and sing for God. Love you.
