Wow! Brother Kenny Lattimore blew this song out the park, in just the minor mellow format that he did it in. A worthy remaking in his own right. His lightweight, but very tender soulful rendition, of "Sweet Baby" is quite a surprise. What a beautiful way to pay homage to the late George Duke after his transition. Thanks for posting!!!!!

Mr. George Duke is absolutely incredible forever....thank you to all of his friends for the incredible support for him. I love this mans music so much that it feels like I knew him personally even though I never met the Man.........the music hit that close. He inspired me from the age of 14 to become a singer and a musician. Thank you so very much for your beyond incredible body and bond of work......... it is and will remain eternally Everlasting.

@logoog , What an amazing song .. I remember this song from my father playing all types of music genres and taught us . We passed it down to my daughters, my nieces and nephews who have all been exposed to music. The piano by George Duke and lead vocals, Stanley Clarke on bass and backup vocals, the Cello … gives me the chills every time I hear it . I’m happy the younger generation in my family loves all music we play on special occasions and even BBQ’S . The Tribute to George Duke I saw in U tube with Al Jarreau and Gospel singers at his funeral mass . Phenomenal tribute.🙏❤️🎶🙏

That's the song I got to know George Duke and Stanley Clarke. I ended up buying the album, the second project, and finally the last. I only watched George at the Cape Town Jazz Festival. But, somehow, I had an idea George was a really kindred spirit. If you listen to his song with Billy Cobham, Space Lady. You can tell the man wanted everybody to be happy around him. Since he passed away, it's like a loss of my immediate family here in Swaziland. Really miss the man

+tonartification Man, u very lucky. How I wished I had talked to the man, and told him how I like his music, and also, his productions. For me, to see and album produced by him, I would try to by it. And, all of them were quality. When he was in Cape Town , he was with Kenny Latimore and Chante. I was already dreaming of another good album by them
