I was born in Warrington in 1943...I am 72 now and remember my dad taking me here to show me the Grave of George when i was just a lad....Most of my Warrington family are burried in this cemetery not far from George's resting place.....Thank's for the video it brings back some very good memories to me....

I had no idea that George Formby and his parents were Roman Catholics, what s comfort to know. If I pass that way I'll say a rosary for them.

I don't understand why the grave mentions a granddaughter? I didn't think he had any kids. That's what he said on his show just before he died, that he never had any kids?
