Hats off! This is great. I've conducted this very many times and know it well. This performance is vibrant and exciting. How I've wished for a trumpet section like this. (such a hard trumpet part). Thanks everyone!

I think this suite is way ahead of its time, because it reminds me of the compositional style of the romantic composers (Berlioz, Holst, Sibelius). The overture is extremely great. Handel was a visionary

@@ydelinsen Very interesting thanks!! I am trying to find a video (an excellent performance too) played to the original scoring for winds (oboes & bassoons), trumpets, horns and tympani that George II ordered, but I think it got deleted. Handel preferred the scoring with strings.

Its a very nice interpretation,sometimes a bit too fast for me, royalty in these days tends to be on the slow side.But the playing is catching! Great classic interpetations we know still from Szell, Ormandy and the Philadelphia now remastered, from the fifties.

Very skillful playing all round. However, I much prefer the original all wind instrument version.
