I have two questions in case someone is still monitoring comments. 1. What are the judges looking for in determining winners? 2. Are this clothes and headgear required to have certain elements in the design other than the jingles or is it personal choice? I forgot one.. the video is a little grainy and I can’t tell what the long tassels some of them have in front? Is that their hair? So interesting and fun to watch.

Hi nanabug... Judges look at 2 styles of dance.. One is called Old Style, the other is contemporary... Old style has no head gear and contemporary have Eagle Plumes or an Eagle feather as head gear and a Eagle fan... Judges look at footwork, body movement, head movement and also overall Regalia components, keeping in time with drum beat and also stopping on time. The long otter skins/fur are attached to the hair braids... Thx for the visit and comment...👍

I'm from treaty 4 also and was wondering what ages does it go from teen to women to whatevers next and so on. Reason I'm asking is I want to find video of my 2 relatives. Thanks

Usually Teen category is 13-18 Jr Women 19-34 Sr Women 35-54
