I love Hawaiian music. I own 2 used ukeleles and I don't even play. So a trunk full, no problem.

I like to think that when Tom walked through Heaven’s gates George greeted him with a big hug and asked Tom, “So what took you so long?” It seems like the type of happy humor George would have to put a smile right on Tom’s face

Thought you were going to say that George greeted Tom with a huge hug.....and a ukulele. Miss them so much. ❤️ I could listen to Tom tell stories forever. ❤️

One of my favourite parts in this document !! I always laughed at the fact how many times he says the word ukulele in those 2 minutes. Legendary RIP George and Tom

I watch this clip every week and giggle every damn time. Love these men so much. Sometimes I dream that they’re both still with us, and am bitterly disappointed to return to reality. At least we still have their music.

Did anyone else notice how badly his hand was shaking when he reached up to touch the left side of his face (right after he said the line about how much his wrist hurt the next day)? And, yes, RIP to the "Bob Dylan" of MY generation. Sorely missed/NEVER forgotten.

George Harrison is the reason I started playing ukulele, that was several years ago and I love it, everyone should have and play one, it would be a much happier world 👍🏆.

He was right though, you never know when you might need one 😎. Im imagining now that when you get to heaven, as well as standard issue wings and halo, you now get issued a ukulele too 😊.

Here's a guy who has accomplished everything he possibly could and is one of the most famous musicians in history and he's like a little kid talking about one of his idols, George. The musicians that the Beatles influenced is like a who's who of music. What would life be without them? Pretty darn boring.

I've played guitar for over thirty years, and recently picked up a ukulele. It's a pretty easy instrument to hop to if you can already play a guitar. I can't put the thing down now.

I've been a guitar player for thirty years, and recently got a ukulele for that very reason. Something to stroll around the garden with. It's easy to jump to a ukulele when you're already accustomed to a stringed instrument.
@ThinWhiteAxe3 жыл бұрын
Indeed. I need to get one myself, I've already learned some chords by putting a capo on the 5th fret and muting/ignoring the bottom 2 strings

I heard George playing and singing Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea and bought a Ukulele in January 2024, it is now July and my fret fingers are calloused, I practice form, but my fingers are numb. Is that normal? I need some feedback.

I wish there was a Ukulele group near me, here in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. I envy the groups I see on KZfaq around the world, sharing the joy of this lovely little instrument.
