And at $170 for the average ticket,per person, $57 at the lowest (fees not included) just to watch the performer walk away is probably not that satisfying. This may not be a popular take but here it goes... Lopez became a soft Hollywood princess. A comic should command/control the crowd. Heckle Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Jo Koi and see what happens?? The heckler would get checked, put in her place and totally embarrassed. Then you move on with the show. Instead, he whined off stage. "Why you crying??" Sorry but that's weak.. I recently saw Ralph Barbosa live. He killed it. I'd much rather see comics like Ralph and the others I mentioned..

I appreciate your opinion, and u have a point. I'd disagree though. George has handled hecklers in the past, one time he had security kick them out. He's a much older and frailer guy now. I don't think anyone doing their job expects to be heckled and if they do, I don't think they are to blame for leaving, especially since it seemed George gave the drunk woman a few chances to stop.

For those thinking this is about toughness. Grow up. Heckling is a rapidly growing problem that ruins shows for everyone. People intentionally go to shows just to heckle, they arent there to enjoy the comedian but to get attention themselves. They will not shut up on their own. George gave them 3 chance to just shut up and enjoy the show, they choice not to and the casino's security was shit. How there wasnt a security guard there warning her by the second warning is pathetic. He wasn't going to validate the idiot so he did the right thing and walked off.

Ppl are so rude and inconsiderate. If security wasn’t responding quick enough and removing the heckler, he has every right to walk out. A heckler is someone who disrupts the show for no reason other than to antagonize the comedian. Those of you defending the heckler are equally disturbed. Nobody wants to hear your drunk ass messing up the show with your negatively. Just StFU and laugh or if you don’t find the comedian funny or entertaining LEAVE. It’s just that simple. Finally they said “throw us out then”, showing that they weren’t going to let him continue without heckling him. Most comedians probably would have said something back and continued the set but really it should have been up to the venue to kick out people ruining the show for others. Everyone, including them paid money to see Lopez perform not listen to a bunch of asses who in their drunken stupor think they are funniest person in the room.

It’s just a bad side of working with the community that some choose to deal with. Both Lopez and the venue confirmed they talked about what to do with hecklers, they just differed on what the response would have been, so obviously it was a problem at some point. If they knew they hired someone who requested intervention for people purposely interrupting the set and after three very vocal and stern responses, the venue did nothing, Lopez had a right to walk off.

No one's in the side of the heckler but as a comedian he could have won the entire crowd. It's part of his job. Clearly he no longer has it on him. Dave Chappelle deals with them all the time you don't see him running out

He is one of the most funniest Latino comedian I’ve ever seen. I watched him for years. But his iconic skits ARE funny and the TV shows he has been in has demonstrated his personality was scripted in to add the right SPICE to his character. It has been many years, yet people still do love his jokes and theatrical moves, it’s iconic. Appreciate what you have today, because it’s people like him inspires others and becomes the NEXT generation. This statement just doesn’t fall on only comedians but many entertainers of different fields who were also INSPIRED by others. Thank You George Lopez for all the years of painstakingly writing materials and unleashing it to many. I love to quote pieces of your skits, because to me, YOU ARE inspirational and I appreciate how many times you make me laugh (I probably laugh in my sleep sometimes, there’s always someone out there that reminds me of one of your skits 🤣😂🤣. I think that what happened. 😊) 👏👏👏👍🏆🫶😇

He did not “storm” off stage. He kindly gave the rude and drunk audience a warning, and then walked off stage when they wouldn’t settle down for his set.
