Hmm, this isn't nearly as inventive as his instrumental versions of Beatles songs he did for A Hard Day's Night. This really is Muzak like.

I think it's far better than mediocre. Listening to it here, you can really appreciate how good the melody is.

@Rick Bauer this is from 63 With Beatles second UK original album. A Hard Day's Night from 64 featured only Lennon/McCartney originals, despite the lead vocal of George Harrison on "I’m Happy Just to Dance With You", composed mainly by Lennon.
