Phenomenal performance, I'm listening to music over 60 years, this is one of thee best performances ever. George's tribute to Freddy Mercury with Queen Somebody to Love is phenomenal also!!

I saw this when it first came out in the early 90's. '91 if I'm thinking right, so like 31 years now that I have been enjoying this version. I still get a massive chill down my spine when Elton gets introduced and the crowd roars. This was one of those purely magical moments that can never be recreated. These 2 were on point on this. Glad you were able to finally discover this. I've watched a couple reactions of yours now and am going to head for that little red subscribe button and click it. Thanks for your time and effort.

This was one of Elton's first performances after getting sober. He said that he was terrified that he wouldn't have a piano to hide behind but it would be a real test of his mettle. He was great and of course George was pitch perfect as he always his. George's live performances are always something special to behold as I usually like them better than his recordings. RIP George.

He passed away on Christmas 2016, and was famous by the song "Last Christmas". By the way, he and a colleague from the group Wham rewrote all the copyrights from the sale of that single to hungry children from Ethiopia. He didn't earn much at that time, and the single sold several million copies. He was considered the new singer of the group "Queen", after his performance at the concert held in honor of Freddie. Numerous stars performed on that occasion, but everyone agreed that no one sang Quinn's songs like him. He modestly refused to be the singer of the group, believing that there is no substitute for Freddie. George Michael has left millions of dollars to humanitarian organizations that help children and people suffering from cancer and AIDS. He was also one of the producers of the original band single from 1984, thanks to which more than 20 million dollars were collected for hungry Ethiopians. During his life, George Michael secretly committed great humanitarian deeds non-stop: 1. He donated $ 18,000 for in vitro fertilization to a complete stranger Deal Or No Deal TV host Richard Osman hosted a woman who wanted to raise $ 18,000 for in vitro fertilization. By chance, Michael watched the show and secretly paid her money the next day. 2. He founded an organization that fights for the rights of children with disabilities He founded the "Trust", which offers grants to people with disabilities and children with special needs. 3. He worked in a shelter for the homeless He volunteered in shelters for the homeless and asked the employees of those institutions not to tell anyone about his deeds. 4. He gave millions of dollars to the Childline service The founder of the Childline telephone service, which is available to British children 24 hours a day and can be contacted by anyone under 19 who has any life problem, revealed that Michael gave all the money earned from the hit "Jesus To A Child" to organization. "He gave us millions of dollars and we planned to do a big concert in his honor on the 30th anniversary of its founding and thank him on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children he helped," said Esther Rancen. 5. He gave hundreds of free tickets to hospital staff in Austria Michael sent 1,000 free concert tickets to employees of the hospital in Vienna where he was treated for pneumonia in 2011. "I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who saved my life and all my fans for their love and support," he said at the time. 6. He donated the proceeds from "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" to a children's humanitarian organization and the AIDS Foundation

We have a playlist in my theatre. I listen to CCR and the Doors + cat stevens, disturbed etc.etc. My theatre sisters and technicians prefer wham and ol George plus some other irritating stuff. All the music makes our workflow much better

Hi Jennifer. I don't publish any footage of any procedure due to ethical reasons etc, etc. As far as the music goes we each throw some music together, put it on a thumb drive let pthe staff sort out who's the DJ. Ass long as we start off with "morning has broken" I'm easy. Except for modern jazz and rap!!!! Don't put me in a bad day.😂😂😂

Apologies. I mistakenly thought you were referring to my work. No we don't "produce" anything in terms of our playlist. We just put on what we (90% me) want to listen to. Mostly 70's and 80's stuff. I wonder if people know, especially the youngsters, what a "speak easy" is.

In a time when 90% of the music is just garbage, there actually was a time not so very ago when artists like George and Elton made some of the best, most heartfelt music in history. Auto-tune and lip-sync were unheard of and not needed, because real voices and instruments ruled the day...Many of today's artists might be remembered for a decade or two....George Michael and Elton John's music will be listened to as long as there are people around to hear it...RIP George!
