I don't feel enough credit is given to David Fincher as the director of this video. He is the one who put this entire array of jewels together that make up the crown that is this masterpiece of a video. It is not surprising that he has gone on to have his film career. David Fincher is a brilliant talent. January 11th marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of the late Supermodel, Tatjana Patitz. She was one of the original female supermodels that appeared in George Michael's Freedom 90 music video in the early 1990s along with Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell. All of the 5 top female supermodel stars were popular, talented and famous in the model industry. I was so heartbroken and devastated over the passing of Tatjana Patitz who sadly died in early 2023 last year. I had no idea that she was battling with breast cancer. It's so sad that she didn't make it to 2024. But she will be remembered as a good person and a good model. She also will never be forgotten. May she continue to Rest In Peace. 1966-2023. 😢👼 🕊️

This song brings me back to the 80s. I know it came out in 90, and has 90 in the title, and everyone is saying it is a song of the 90s, which it technically true, but the 90s hadnt even happened yet. There was no 90s vibe yet. The 90s was literally a few months old when this came out we didnt know what the 90s were going to be like, we were just a bunch of 80s people , as was George Michael when he wrote it. To me its an anthem of the closing of the 80s, it has a late 80s vibe. When i think of the 90s I think more of grunge, I certainly dont think of this song as a 90s vibe song. But thats probably because I was a senior in high school, and I knew every nuance of every vibe of every year back then. Now im old and I have no grasp on modern songs. I guess it would be like if i heard a song from 2011 and said, "this song is so 2020's vibe!" Young people would be like ok grandma, time for your nap lol.
