George wrote, produced and arranged all his own music and sometimes played all instruments on particular songs. He was a magician and is unexplainably missed ❤🙏. Bless him for leaving his heart & soul in his music, for us to enjoy for a lifetime 💝 His album Older, was in my opinion, is his best album...Listen Without Prejudice is 2nd. Other songs that are different, but amazing, are SOUL FREE, SOMETHING TO SAVE, HEAL THE PAIN (there are 2 versions...one solo and one with Paul McCartney), KISSING A FOOL, and my favorite WAITING FOR THAT DAY!!! Take a listen, I think you'll appreciate them.

Genius George besides being absolutely gorgeous this man could sing the alphabet and it would be brilliant he can sing anything i just adore him, George produced it like all of his songs, shout out for the Bass player Deon Estos who was with George from Wham and most of his career ❤😊

George Michael is as close to perfection as you can get…. he adapted his voice and style, he developed and grew right before our eyes giving us amazing versatility and soul in his delivery. In his writing he left us some of the best modern ballads ever written…. truthful, sensitive and powerful…..and some of the grooviest dance and r&b songs ever. As a producer he had a terrific touch. To say he left an enormous gap in the world when he left us would be an understatement.

This. Song. Is. Fiyah!!!! The album Older is really good. I've loved this track the 1st time I heard it. His voice on this track is mesmerizing. His use of his range and power with his tones are brilliant here. The production is brilliant. Most of George's songs have brilliant production. The writing is nothing to sleep on either. George Michael. No voice like his. Great music.

By now, you're getting to know that George could write in any genre. From pop to R&B/ Soul (first white male artist to ever win R&B artist of the year first artist to win R&B ALBUM of the year. ) to jazz and even standards. George evolved into such a sophisticated, beautiful vocalist and songwriter. I'm so happy you're discovering his music because he's truly one of a kind. By the way, he has written, arranged, and produced all of his own music. So the production that you admire is completely credited to George. There's a gorgeous song called Cowboys and Angels, which almost sounds like a Symphony or a waltz. Please try to react to that one. By the way, he had an incredible range, and if you check out some of his earlier work when he was with wham! as a teenager, you hear that falsetto all over the place. I'm thrilled that you're discovering his music. 🎉

George was a a versatile singer. Had such a deep love for African American music , Old school R&B ,Jazz you name it.. The flute was taken from Michael Jackson remake of The Wiz.. The song was about his mate sleeping around with random people and taking the risk of catching Aids,,, It was a cross between a PSA song as well as sharing his ex lover lifestyle before he died of Aids .. Michael was a very STRONG advocate for a health and wellness .. Even tho he suffer from depression from the lost of BOTH his mother & lover. RIP To the most sexiest gay man who walk the earth. You are still loved and remember 💖💖

Hello, George always mixed It up. He would keep his different never boring! This album is from his OLDER album. He wrote this about 4 yrs. after his lover Anselmo (his first real love ) & his mother passed ( & after about 4 yrs. of major depression ) This was his favorite album. George always wrote, sang, arranged, and produced, all of his own music. His catalog was Jazz, Pop, R&B, Soul, and even a little Swing ( this he sang Beautifully didn't write ) Magnificent regardless! George had magic about him. He was so honestly relatable. He put his heart into everything. What he was going through at any given time, honestly, things that all people went through in their lives at some time! George was all human, as well as the most private artist of all time. He fought for this his whole career. He did say to his fans that If you wanted to know him, It's all in his music. To go on further the man behind the music was just as magnificent as his music, maybe even more. It's very worth It to know! Several of the reacters have reaffirmed that knowing him & that was found out about his history & his generosity to ordinary people & asked for privacy between them & him ( which no one knew about until after his passing) This gave them a better understanding & even better love of his music. They got where It was coming from! George is so loved by his fans, around the world & we all miss him greatly! GEORGE IS MY LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN, & WILL ALWAYS BE! A few of my suggestions would be, STAR PEOPLE, TOO FUNKY, BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A DIME, seen on Poverotti & Friends) This is a spectacular performance! As for the other two, they are original videos (that he directed) so while reacting you could watch at the time w/o showing It (so you don't get reprimanded, it'll be worth It for you. LOL, my Friend, ALWAYS REMEMBER GEORGE & KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING! BK 😎🎤💖🎶🎶🎶

Actually no. Listen the Wham's Fantastic album. Aside from Wham! Rap, he covered Isley Brother's Nothing Looks the Same in the Light as well as Was Not Was' Where Did Your heart Go during Wham! days. Last track in Make It Big album - Like a Baby as well.

@@shayla-lee Okay I will. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I know of some of the songs you mentioned. I haven't heard all of George's songs as a soloist or songs with Wham or Boogie Box High, but I have heard a lot of them if not most. I wouldn't classify them as R&B & Soul, but they do have R&B, soul & or jazz influences. Maybe that is what you are saying he has songs like that earlier in his career & I agree with that. Songs like "Father Figure," "One More Try" & "Careless Whisper: has those elements. But the songs you mentioned "Wham! Rap" & "Where Did Your Heart Go," is of the genre pop rap & pop soft rock ballad not R&B. The same for "Like a Baby," pop, soft rock ballad, but there are influences that I hear. R&B & soft rock are very similar in a lot of ways to be honest with you though & tough to differentiate at times due to them both being derived from the same roots, negro spirituals. So we both can be correct or incorrect due to the overlapping of genres. It's a lot to consider when trying to classify musical genre especially with today's music. I don't envy anyone who has to do that. But I'm sure they have an algorithm for that. But umm he has done some songs with elements of R&B, jazz & soul on each of his albums for sure. The album this song "Spinning the Wheel," is on he seem to go more into or deeper into those genres, i could even hear the reggae in this song, but I still confirmed it to be sure. That is why I said more of the R&B genre, I should have said more of the jazz genre too because I could hear that more than anything with the songs on this album plus I read that is what they were trying to do with this album "Older." As far as the cover of the Isley Brother's song, I think you meant the song "If You Were There." That song genre is soul, funk but Wham made it with a more upbeat tempo when they covered it & made it more pop like. When it comes to musical genres the tempo drives the genre of the song along with other things like instrumentation, rhythm, chord progression, vocals & there are other relatable traits even down to history. But his songs on his album "Older" stands in those genres more than songs from his other albums. I'll say most of the songs on his Older album is of jazz, r&b, soul. But the fact we are commenting on his style of music goes to show how eclectic his musical style was. Such a musical legend.
