I really like both of them a lot. Lewis is my favorite but love George as well (and I'm not even british :D). I really don't understand how people can dislike George--I find him always super articulate and generally likable in interviews. Really hoping Mercedes can turn it around in the near future and George gets a car he can truly compete with next season and afterwards. Would love to see some George vs. Verstappen fights on the track.

The Hamilton fanboys dont like him because he had the temerity and self-confidence to not be Valtteri Bottas. Thats really all it is.

I think Hamilton screwed Russell over, why would Russell pit and lose position to Hamilton. I bet Russell was told that Hamilton would also pit and then Hamilton refused.

Russell cooked his tyres. He wasn't going to make it to the end, Toto said that in his interview. Then to add salt to the wounds even said "Lewis probably would've had him on track anyway". Lewis was on fresher tyres and had managed better. No need for him to pit.
