The US economy cannot survive without continuous credit and debt creation. The FED will print more money and the average American will go just that much further in debt. Meanwhile, foreigners lust for the greenback. Their economies are in worse condition than the US... if that's possible. Someone is going to be left holding the bag...

Gold might crash in a liquidity crunch, but many precious metal holders are prepared for this and unlikely to be forced sellers. The paper market would tank and possibly collapse. Hearing from an experienced investor who has overcome adversity is motivating. It can be tough when your portfolio turns red, but if you've invested in strong companies, stick to your goals and continue growing them

It's often true that investors underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

@@Heyu7her3 part of why I live where I live is because as a part of the management staff at the property, I get a 40% discount on rent. I got a 3 bed 2 bath and then got two roommates and now I pay very little for rent. It's allowed me to pay off about $2,000 dependent on my monthly bonus (based on apartment occupancy). Saying "NEVER file bankruptcy" is potentially just as damaging as saying "Bankruptcy should be your first step to being debt free". There are circumstances where bankruptcy is your best option. You need to do some real soul searching and financial reviews first, but never say never. I was at a point in my life where I was making $15/hr and I had a wage garnishment of 25% of my pay. Bankruptcy saved my life. Yes, that is extreme. But Bankruptcy is for extreme situations. "NEVER file bankruptcy" is also extreme.

But getting an almost 100k income between two incomes and one person with side hustles (and the other at home for the kiddos) is very possible. Depends on the region of course, but given $40k each and then a 10k side hustle l, you can do it.

Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Finally done with debt minus my house this week. Now working emergency fund in my high yield saving account and investing. The stress relief is amazing. Next year I will be able to work on paying off my house and saving for my kids future college expenses.

My wife and dont have quite that much but every time i hear people complaining about student debt its 1/4 of ours and ive been so confused how theirs is seen as the norm and i knew it wasnt. Thank you to you and the comments for the validation we arent alone in this fight.

Your ideas helped my wife and i pay off a huge debt of $105,000 in only a few months. Our current objective is to continue stay off any type of debt and relocate to another state to be closer to our parents and to have a reduced cost of living. Saving is presently being used to build our emergency fund. We now give every purchase careful consideration. We have also begun saving for retirement and would really appreciate it if you could do a video on how to handle large sums of money and retire happily with, say, over a million dollars. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

@albatkobe I totally agree, I'm 60 and my wife is 56, we just retired with about 1.9 million outside retirement funds, no debt and very small $$$ in retirement funds compared to the balance of portfolio over the past 3 years till date. tbh, the role of a licensed investment brokers can only be overlooked, not denied. Just do your research to find a reputable one.

@marvishanorris Do you know who "HEATHER LEE LARIONI" is? She frequently appears on CNBC. I got to know her through my wife. It was good to hear someone else with a huge amount and see how it was possible for them to do in 7 years. Awesome 👏🏾 My goal is 5-7 years too. Enjoyed your show, continue to spread your knowledge and advice. Thanks Evonne

I started baby steps January 2023! I sold my $57,000 Jeep and bought a beater car. Unfortunately, the car was a lemon and ended up costing me a lot in repairs but I can now keep it for the next 5 to 10 years with the new engine I had to replace! I still have no car payments nor credit cards! I am going to tackle my student loan debt and in 5 years, I’ll be on that debt free scream stage!!!!❤

This interview was enlightening. It really revealed a lot about Jade and now she makes more sense to me on the Ramsey Show. One can tell she is incredibly talented and able to pick things up quickly. I felt that Jade could have been hocking Tupperware just as much as the Ramsey principles at first. Now, she seems to have really settled in well. She still sounds a bit like a parrot but she represents the Ramsey brand well. I have been enjoying her on the Ramsey Show much more as time goes by as she is finding her "delivery style" on the show. Great interview, George. Kamel.

You can file chapter 7 which wips out your debt or chapter 13 which lowers it but has you repay your debt over time. Which one you choose depends on your assets and chapter 13 is much more expensive. The problem with bankruptcy it won't wipe out student debt and wouldn't have helped the this guest much.
