I could tell she loved it because every time, her face would light up. my fondest memory is singing this with my grandma on the way to her house after a long day of school. My husband I met when we were 10, got engaged when we were 12, we didn't tell our parents though, and after we graduated from high school, we got married, this June will be our 47th wedding anniversary. We got married in 1977.

20 years for my husband and I this past September, it wasn't easy, family members put us down said we wouldn't last, yet they're all divorced and here we are, together. 🥰

George Strait is difficult to listen to; My late husband got us concert tickets for our anniversary; the night before the concert we got into a big argument. I was a 25 yo, and I had a problem with bringing up the past when we would argue (we were HS sweethearts). I ultimately refused to go to the concert. Neither of us went. The next day we made up and he told me that he saved up for floor seats to that show! 😭 My husband unexpectedly passed away shortly after that, leaving behind our beautiful children and many broken hearts. I would've had that beautiful memory of the concert to hold onto had I not been petty! Please make up with your loved ones, say you're sorry more often, even if you feel like you're right, say it anyway. Tell them how you feel, how much you appreciate them, how hard they work, how much they love you even when you may not deserve it LoL Tell them how gorgeous/handsome they are, especially on days they look tired, when they need it the most. Cuddle them as much as possible, They may not be there tomorrow =(

He somehow was able to keep all his music PG and wholesome without being corny or lame. This song reminds of my daughter when she was in middle school, a boy who she was friends with came up to her after school and asked if they were friends. She said yes of course we are. She was confused on why he asked as there hadn't been any problems. She found out later on that night he and his mother were killed in a car accident on there way home from school. It really freaked her out, all she could take from it was at least he knew he had a friend and it was important to him.
