Daughters Surprise their Father with DREAM Backyard

George Oliphant and the team tackle a backyard that needed so serious demo. Kevin, an Iron Worker in the Freedom Tower, got hurt on the job and could not do anymore construction on his house. But his daughters thought after years of Kevin taking care of everyone else he deserved the backyard of his dreams. With help from the George, the team, neighbors, and fellow union members the renovation left Kevin and his family speechless.

He is lucky to be alive. My father was killed in a construction accident when I was 8 years old. He was hit in the head by a concrete truck Shute. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by where I don’t wish that he had survived. I am sure his family are so appreciative that their pop survived.

So I guess I can blame god for not being able to have kids and have my mom and boyfriend die two months apart last year. My house is in real bad shape...not living on a lake with three daughters and money in the bank. Yeah their god is great...mine sucks.

IF he was not a good person people would have been very reluctant to help. Whatever we do in life follows us and our children. I once told a villager that he survives on his grandparents and father 's good deeds whom I knew since I was a child.

I am from Europa and seen this video first time . It is unbelivebal for us to see what a concerted work can do. I was also a garden enginieur before my retiring . But what this team has done is so positive energiy . This is what a garden arcitekt had to do : Bringing tears into the eyes of the owner there ! Congratulation !

@@GeorgeToTheRescue how do nominate my brother in law and my sister? He and my sister began renovating their house. Sadly last year he had a stroke that left him with his right side paralyzed. My sister has been finishing everything by herself. Tiling the bathroom and trying to finish the stairs, etc. They can't use their master bedroom because it's not finished and he has a hard time walking. The back yard is a mess. He needs to have a place to relax an a pool to exercise in. He's always in lots of pain. My heart breaks to know my sister has to do everything. I know with this present virus nothing could be done but please consider giving them a dream come true. Like Kevin in this video, my sister and brother-in-law are the type that would give up everything to help others. Thank you in advance.

For everyone who worked this May God bless you all. Humanity at its best. My husband had ALS and a team came to our farm and built a ramp and replaced rotting front porch. I could not have taken him in his power chair to his appointments and evenings out without their help. Thank Hod for people like Ya’ll

man i know some of the pain the father felt from his neck injury,judging from the x-ray they showed i have had the same surgery.i was an auto mechanic and got hit in the head by a truck tire another tech knocked off a shelf while he looked for tires he needed. herniated the c-5 and c-6 disc in my spine. had surgery to remove them and a titanium plate was installed.i don't wish the pain of the injury or the surgery on anyone. and i used to live in Carmel, ny which is not far from Mahopac. went to boces for auto repair and had a bunch of guys from Mahopac in that class. anyway nice to see someone so deserving helped out big time :)

This is the first time I watch your video. It's amazing what you are doing for people in need. It's amazing how you get the community involved. However, if at all possible you can save the trees and anything that can be reused elsewhere would be great for the planet and for other people who cannot afford to buy trees or plants to make their homes beautiful would be greatly appreciated. I love what everyone has done to his backyard. Beautiful job!!!!
