Georgia Customer brings in his C7 Z06 Corvette to LMR

A thrilled customer hailing from the stunning state of Georgia recently entrusted Late Model Racecraft (LMR) with the upgrade of his prized possession - a 2019 C7 Z06. Having heard rave reviews about LMR's unparalleled reputation and top-notch performance results, the customer confidently decided to opt for their 850HP FLEX Performance Package.
This package was brought to life with a custom camshaft kit, cold air system, long tube headers, and a low side fuel system complete with the E85 flex fuel sensor system and breather.
Steven, the owner of LMR, took the customer for a test ride, and the customer's ecstatic reaction spoke volumes about the performance enhancements made to his vehicle.
Although the horsepower ceiling is near on this build we have a feeling the Magnuson 2650 Supercharger system is in his near future.

I like how you guys put plastic over the steering wheel, carper, and seat protectors on your cars. Shows you pay attention to detail and respect your customers property. You would be surprised how many modifiers and maintainers that do not do this. Much respect.

@@doughooks7411 I have seen Nissan, Acura, Hyundai, Toyota, and Mercedes dealership not do this. Mercedes dealership left grease marks on my crem colored interior and a scratch on the driver's door.

@@fredeb67 Yeah, my point is that it should be a no brainer for any place that mods high hp cars like this. It was when I had my C7Z done. These guys are not grease monkeys.

Yes I agree I've been in the drag racing world for over forty years and if you are not a gear head and work on your cars just take it to LMR they are one of only three shops in the years I've been doing this that does 99.9 percent of everything right you will thank me afterwards! And Steven is one of the coolest car guys you will ever meet!

Makes me miss my ZL1 although I’m Houston grown it wasn’t LMR parts I’d installed ,I reached out to Linginfelter for the bits and pieces ,it wasn’t a big package,just 700rwhp street and pocket friendly ,but still the whine is pushing me back to wanting another one..if it’s not already built , maybe I give LMR a shot, and order one of their kits..

What was the final HP numbers to the wheels? I know you showed before numbers but did not show the numbers after. Just checking if that was 850HP to the crank or wheels?

850hp is the crank. I believe this car would get upper 600s hp to the wheels. If it was manual then lower 700s hp.

I suggest keeping a pack of new microfiber towels on the shelf to keep those dyno cables off the paint on the doors and fenders. Just one little tweak to your great care.

What do you recommend for a 15 c7 manual trans base with ECS kit 50k miles on it? I already have the LT4 HPFP on it and it made 588 hp 568 tq. I would like to be able to remove the restrictor plate take full advantage of the Novi 1500 reliably

850 whp low 9 950-1000-1050whp high 8 . With a stall converter all it needs is 850-900whp to run high 8

Im thinking of selling my 16 Camaro SS to get either a C7 Z06 or C8 Stingray….I do plan on adding power so which would be more reliable and/or least expensive? This question is for anyone that knows what they’re talking about

Well you can't tune C8's properly yet, and obviously C7's are cheaper both in cost and for mods so there's your answer. The C8 is a track weapon and the best Corvette daily driver bar none. But if you are looking for pure drag strip numbers, or gutting it and building it purely for the track then go C7.

Why? Especially if you are building it out and replacing the supercharger and engine internals, you are just paying more for components you will replace eventually. It's also basically $200k grand lol
