All of this wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t been so proud. She should have asked help from Zion in the first place, not playing a role of a strong independent woman. He could have helped her early on. She just loves struggling. Some things in life are easy, you just have to be able to see it. She decided to go on her own and look where this have led her. There was Zion, always.

She admitted to herself and her kids that she was young and stupid, I can't remember if she said stupid or dumb, but she admitted it near the end of the season, and that she felt like she had no options. I guess it's one of those things that what she would have done now, may have not been what she would have done back then.

i think you either didn't see the whole show or didn't understand it well... but that's okey, there was a lot going on, and the main character was Ginny, so we can't really focus on every other character ^^ so here (hope it will help) : when she ran away with Ginny, she was young (like, literally 15, you can't blame a kid for not making the best decisions, and especially not in parenthood.. even justice doesn't :')) and traumatized (her back story with her step father and mom ect ect), she just couldn't understand that people can be nice to her and want her well-being without planning on betraying her. so ofc, when zion's parents offered her their help, well-intentioned probably, she thought they wanted to take her kid away from her, which she couldn't bear. she didn't play in independent or strong (she was too young for that lol), she thought she made the good decision since she couldn't trust anyone with her kids (because she has been abused and abandoned by the ones who were supposed to love and protect her from the world)... ofc that was a young/hurt thought and reaction, that's why when she grew up and finally understood, she confessed and regretted (and even Ginny understood her by the end). Unfortunately, the "strong independent" thing is not part of her story, even when she became an adult, it was a facade, a defense mechanism. she needed help from the start, as much as Ginny... hope it heped you understand the character a little bit better ^^

I appreciate all feedback, as I removed the original project of this video which I could edit etc when I completed this, I can't edit it and change the audio now, but I will take on this feedback for future videos
