Great video, and valuable tips!! I practiced for 2 months (every weekend) with my Honda Interstate which its wheel base is by far greater than a sport bike and I passed on the DMV test.

not at all. just keep your eyes up and trust your tires. work the clutch and don't over rev. when you make your turns look through the turn and put your chin on your shoulder. you got this!

The video was EXACTLY what I needed...the test was exactly the same. The tester was very helpful and explained things very well - good experience.

I ride a 750 and failed 2 weeks ago. I was freezing so I think that may have played a role. I have been riding on and off for probably 20 years. Now I have to try again and of course the nerves are shot over the end results the first time. Wish you could practice at the course when it isn't in use. This video will hopefully calm my nerves going into my next shot......

jartley2825 I looked up the course measurements and found a pdf with some measurements grabbed some chalk and red cups. I take my test tomorrow.

I flunked today on my Harley. Been riding my whole life and I’m 57. I’ll try one more time and if I don’t pass then, I’ll be riding without a license.

Good video, thanks. For bureaucratic reasons, apparently I'll be required to do this on a Ryker (look it up), which for obvious reasons (assuming you looked it up) makes NO GD SENSE. Not anyone's problem but mine, but would love input from other 3-wheelers before I bother.

Honestly all the purple i know with trikes did a computer course and got their license. You still need your permit test though

So I'm in Long County. I've taught myself to ride pretty much. Went and got me a learners permit and in may I ha e to do this. Riding is no problem. I've not had a chance to do any of this. I wonder if I can go to the DDS and practice on the course.

they make sure lights turn signals horn and breaks work then you go into the test. eyes up when going through the first obstacle. it makes it easier

@miley_miles1165 I'm not exactly sure on the measurements. I would go to the DDS after hours and play around on their range out back.

Yes. To be street legal you have to have your license and insurance.

People also ask How far apart are the cones in a motorcycle test in GA? 5 Weave cones are 12' apart in a straight line. Stop box is 3'x5' Motorcycles under 600cc have a 20' U-turn area. Motorcycles 600cc and over have a 24' U-turn area.

"MSF doesnt cost anything to my knowledge, if it does its 20 bucks" I guess their price must have changed I looked it up and it says that the MSF course is $250. But it does say that fee may vary depending on where you go? Do you know of a place that has an MSF course for cheaper than $250? I

Im looking at it now trying to find one but all the H-D courses are from $200 - $325 :( Thanks for trying to help though, I appreciate it. I guess ill just have to watch more videos and find an empty lot. Any tips for using a heavier bike? I have a late 80's honda nighthawk 650. Well, at least I think its heavier, im not that experienced, I just compared it to my friends Katana.

@@robbob6242 always make sure you have your shots. (Required paperwork). I would start with license. Then get bike. Then insurance.

I failed the 3rd exercise because I refuse to ride recklessly, I told them their test was full of shit, my bike can't even go that fast in that short of space. On the second test, the lady made me ride in front of the cone line instead of behind the cone line, it was a sharp offset but I did it. I see she was doing it wrong, everyone else goes behind the cones on the 2nd exercise.
