@@phillyrich3249 Exactly. Those are the same people who hide behind religion. I was raised Catholic and I really did believe in God, but after I found out that Priest were being allowed to rape children and get away with it for decades, I stopped believing in God. The Archbishop knew what was going on, and the only thing that was done was to transfer those Priest to another Church.. New meat and new victims. It took me years of hating God to make me realize this wasn't his fault. It was the Church's fault and the people who never stepped in to protect those children even after they knew the truth. I love God again and i will never ever question anything he does or doesn't do. That's not my place to do, it's his.

Yearssssss ago, I had left my church home because of abuse . I had been thinking about joining another church I had been visiting for a while. I asked the Bishop could I speak with him . He took me in his office and while I was crying he started rubbing my hand and arm saying how soft I was . I ran out out of his office crying in shock !!!! Long story short, about a year later he had several heart attacks and strokes and couldn't preach anymore. He finally died. I will never ever join another church , nor go to anyone but a professional to talk to about anything, and it must be a female!!! These perverted pastors , etc , will pay , because God is watching!!!! SMH

Sorry to hear what has happened to you. No excuse for it. All churches and pastors are not the same though. Don’t give up on church. Things are bad and are going to get more harder and it will be important to have fellowship with other believers. I’ve known preachers(plenty)that were as crooked are a dogs back leg, but I have also known pastors that were as straight as a arrow. They preached and lived as the Bible says they should. They were never any rumors of them messing with female or stealing money. They pastored for over 50 years and died and even the church gossiper say they lived clean. Jesus had 12 disciples himself and one of them was a wicked terrible person. But he had eleven that were not. Pray and ask God to help you find the right church. He will. Jesus is the only perfect one. He’s coming soon and when he does there will be no bad pastors. Until then some bad apples will be here. And good ones too.

@@kennethderrickson8840 Thanks , but I'm good . I fellowship with other believers who have been through what I have been through , even worse ! You don't have to fellowship in a " church building " to worship God. Don't get me wrong , I love going to church and never stopped going to church . I said I will never join a church again . As long as I keep my hands in God's hands , I'm good . Trust me , I do more work for the Lord then people who belong to a church building. I encourage those who have been hurt by the church . Believe me , God got me and I'm good . 🙌 😇

The story fell apart so bad that the victims even stopped coming to court but once the case went to state , they weren't trying to budge. That's why he took his life. I was molested by the church deacon. The pastor protected him. Then I was abducted as well as raped (separate incidents) I NEEDED therapy. I didn't get it until I was older. You CAN heal...I'm a witness to it. I still talk with my therapist monthly. I was 9 , 11 and 17 when these things happened. My family didn't believe me so I suffered for years after the original molestation. I never bothered telling my parents about the rape because they didn't believe me. But my friends mom scared off my abductors and called my mother. She didn't believe her either. Please listen to your children if they come to you. It truly makes a difference. I suffer with diagnosed PTSD to this day. I hope those victims get the help they need.

You right if you see red flags it’s time to hit the door and don’t look back . Things ain’t going to get better they only going to get get worse . You can’t change nobody. Was in an abusive relationship for 25 years finally got the courage and strength to live a happy and fulfilling life . God is good . Anything is possible with the Lord . Amen ❤🙏🏽

I am so sorry that this Pastor felt the only way out was to take his life. My condolences to the family and friends. I pray that the Lord would give the family strength and healing in this time of sorrow. I also sorry for the victims of this pastor crime . I pray for all of the victims that God would give them strength , healing and comfort, for what happens to them.

This is such ,since when are guns allowed in the courtroom, and how and when people that are in court on trial allowed to leave the courtroom to leave the building unsupervised

AMEN🙏🏾 I've been thru this level of trauma at various points in my life and so I stand in prayer with all victims of rape and molestation🙌🏾 However I also loss my 21 year old Son to suicide and it is the hardest battle I've ever faced in my life😭 Especially because he never got into trouble, actually never even had a fight, but instead he excelled in school, was a basketball star, a true spiritualist, talented singer/lyricist. So I cannot help but question what may have happened to him there?! Therefore I tell everyone Do not be afraid to talk to someone about the things that weigh heavy on your heart because you have to lift some of that burden off❣️

They (preachers /pastors) won't get counselling because they can't get people delivered if they're not delivered. They would rather hide behind the pulpit as if they are without sin.

It's all about healing and wholeness! Yes suuuuuuhhh! I love how you think about others and how we feel. I used to say, I'm always worried about healing everyone, but me. I'm realizing I'm the healer that needs healing! I've carried 48 years of trauma around like a designer purse! I am in therapy, I started meditation and hugging trees and I feel so much better.

I’m so happy I found your page. I went to therapy and it was the best thing I could of done for myself and my kids. She spoke the truth to me and made me see something’s in life I didn’t want to see but needed to and it made my life better to let go all that hurt inside of me. It doesn’t happen over night, but it does make u feel so much better after the session is over. I felt more confident, stronger, wiser, and I love her for that. So if anyone needs to unpack that bag that’s been weighing u down, pls do it and go speak to someone. It’s free ❤🙏🏾

OMG,OMG..so sad that you can't even be safe in church. However, it's not new. Thank you Dawson for exposing this situation. By the way it's not easy to trust after you been abused in the CHURCH. As a young person who can you trust, don't want to be shamed. Maybe, not even understanding what's going on. Been there, done that. God wrap your arms around all the innocent, trusting loved ones 🙏🙏
