I'm a UGA fan and I wouldnt say this or take anything away from michigan. I would have loved to have gotten into the playoffs to see what would have happened, but we fell short. No excuses. Lets hope we get it done in 2024. Go Dawgs!

You should have been in the playoffs based on the criteria ESPN was dishing out... Saying the four best teams made the playoffs. That is complete BS especially because of Georgia but also because of Florida State.

@@jamesb0255 well it's in the past. We didn't show up against Bama and there is no forgiveness with the 4 team playoffs. The new 12 on the other hand will create a situation where the programs with strong depth will have an advantage. Ohio ST, Georgia, Bama, Texas, LSU (if they stop underachieving), etc. Programs that have top 3-5 recruiting classes year after year. NIL and transfers help but it's about stacking.

As a Georgia fan, I won’t make excuses. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. But Georgia lost one game by 3 points in the past seasons. And then recovered from that loss to break their own largest bowl win record in CFB history.

Absolutely baffles me how yall forget that Mims, Rara, Bowers, Ladd, Jamon, and Branson were all either injured or didnt play at all. If Michigan had corum, barner, wilson, and colson injured, they would have lost to Bama as well. But no, instead they had to go to overtime with a mostly healthy roster.

Texas matched up to Michigan a lot better versus Washington. Michigan ran to set up the pass. Texas had an elite rush defense last year. Michigan won it all, though, so congrats to them.

Clemson VS UGA. Clemson isn't just going to roll over. Clemson defense is going to be top 10. Clemson is going to have wesco and TJ moore as new wide receivers. Plus healthy returning WRs who should be taking a step forward. Phil Mafah and Co. The RBs are good. We have an elite TE. Plus our Offensive Line should be taking a step forward this year under Matt Luke. Our offense under Garrett Riley and Cade Klubnick should take a few steps forward as well. No easy win there.

Hypothetical, 23’ Georgia top to bottom was better that’s 23’ Michigan top to bottom. Michigan had a month to prepare for Bama and played with no injuries. Georgia had limped into the SECCG and got robbed by the refs against he Gumps. If Georgia would’ve won the SECCG and got healthy then they would’ve 3 peated. Exactly. Bama and Georgia are designed to beat each other and while the casuals got bored of it, the longtime fans see a classic before it’s called a classic. I’ll miss the back and forth

Nah. Where was UGA gonna find their offense in a game against that Michigan defense? Michigan faced far better offenses than what Georgia could possibly field, healthy or not. And Georgia's defense clearly wasn't what it was in 2021 and 2022.

@@machineunit these guys are pretty dumb. They assume that georgia is the same team they were in 21 and they're not even close. No elite run game, no mobile QB, no elite run defenders. Michigan would've feasted. Bama was a tougher matchup for M than Georgia would've been
