In ancient times, Georgians practiced fighting even while dancing. Imagine what a person with this physical training could do on the battlefield. That is why they always won against countless enemies. They flew like real angels of death on the battlefield and dragged the unjust enemies to hell. Glory to Georgia!!! sakartvelos gaumarjos!!!

Rasputin’s dance fight scene in The King’s Man is based on this! That scene was the best in the whole movie, the stunt double was Georgian. How brilliant he was able to incorporate this traditional dance! It is spellbinding to see - big respect x

When Georgia was occupied by the empire, Georgian men could not prepare for war and struggle, all training and preparation was forbidden, so they invented the dance which was a weapon against the enemy.

This dance also celebrates the respect for women, the brave women in Georgia and the fact that they can stop the war, at the end of the dance the woman ended the fight.

Unless you doused the ground in gasoline it's very unlikely, sparks off of steel generally don't carry much risk of lighting anything on fire accidentally because they don't stay hot especially long unless you just have a massive amount of sparks like from an angle grinder, and even then it's only a risk if you have a lot of flammable materials nearby
