Good you had a colonoscopy. Really aren't that bad. Our son passed away over 2 years from complications from Colon cancer at 39. So important to get them. I get them when I need one. So far so good. Congratulations on great things happening in your life.

I loved hearing about your adventures in Vegas. We have been once and would love to go back again. I have to say Colonoscopy prep is no fun, but the procedure is very important to have, especially as we get older. I had mine just before you because of a health scare. I would do it every year for the piece of mind it brings. Congratulations on your promotion at work. Thanks for the update. Congrats on your new position at work!! Sounds like a fun girls trip. My late husband & I went years ago-Vegas is a different world. Good for you having your colonoscopy & encouraging others to also. I worked in Endoscopy for 30 years in Athens(surgical floor before that for 7 yrs)-I loved my job there. My daughter works at NorthSide outpatient infusion center. Mother/daughter RNs! Continue to enjoy life. I missed your videos,so I’m happy you’re back!

You should look into the Goldie Box. It is actually set up pretty cool. You get to pick x number of things based on what level you subscribe to. There are no categories. So if you are a bronze bear you get 3 items. You pick those out of all of the selections. I think there was 16 the last box. They do a family friendly item you can choose as well.

Please go back and go visit The Mob Museum; I don't really gamble or drink and I spent 2 hours there and could've spent even more time there. Meow Wolf too...such a cool vibe. Oh and Serendipity is a dessert place...so good.

I went to Vegas for the first time 2 years ago and I didn't know if I would ever go back and I wanted to see the Grand Canyon. We took a helicoper ride that took us over Lake Mead, Hover Damn and landed us in the Grand Canyon. It was the best part of our trip.

Hi Kristy..In my fifties I had so much energy. I loved my fifties so much. I could go and go. People say I have a lot of energy considering I got a back mri and it showed the worst things..a torn disc, two budging discs, stenosis, blah, blah, blah. Then I stepped in a hole the fifth of July and tore something in my knee. My husband always says you have the best knees..no pain. The doctor said I am bone on bone arthritis in my right knee. So it has slowed me down. My husband wants to go back to work part time. I am like you I flounder sometimes, but it sounds like you found something you love. We were self employed for years and I have to say taxes and insurance for the self employed is awfully high.I am glad you got your girls trip in and everything is good with you. Take care..❤❤❤❤

Wow! Your a busy lady! Your trip to Vegas sounded amazing! And congratulations on the promotion! I’ve been working retail for 42 years and good help is truly hard to find, I know that’s what everyone says but it’s so true especially these days. I’m an administrative coordinator for a grocery store and can we talk about turnover?! Crazy! I enjoyed this video so much. Have a great evening. 🤗

I am so glad you like the video. Yes turnover is real. So far we have not had much in the almost year I have been there. But every store has their fair share. Most of the staff at my store are older and have a work ethic. I think that is why I enjoy being there.

glad to have the update. With back to school time I live in a teacher fog from end ofJuly through September. i forget there are people with real lives doing fun stuff. I went ti Vegas 1 summer and kept complaining the soles of my feet hurt. No one thpught much about it until we got back to our rooms snd my cousin was laughing at my shoes. i wore little light tennis shoes like Keds. The soles had melted into the "framework' of the shoe...kinda like a rubber waffle😅😅. Never again!

We were in Vegas from July 26-31. My son went to the Final Fantasy convention so we went along to play. And yes, it was soooo hot. We saw Maroon 5, Katy Perry, and Smashing pumpkins. What a wild exhausting trip! So much walking. Glad you had fun. And we rode the high Roller with no one else in the car but the 3 of us!

If your colonoscopy was without any polyps and you have no history of colorectal cancer in your family, the guidance is once every 10 years. Insurance sucks if you don't have a group plan, glad your job allows you to provide this for your family. Yay for you and Yvette having a fabulous trip.!!!

I did not have any polyps, but my doctor said they are starting to recommend them every 5 years. I really don’t mind either way though.

I have been to Hawai'i twice and LOVED it both times. That is actually on our short list of places to visit. I bet we will get there at some point. 🥰

I'm glad you found the colostomy a breeze. I did not tolerate the prep very well. I vomited throughout it. Unless I can be assured a different prep, I will NOT do it again. The actual procedure wasn't bad though.

In Australia, we get sent a bowel kit sent to over 50’s every 2 years. Easy to do. Then send you add your Doctors name . If anything is unusual they let you know.

Do you love the T-shirt subscription box? I'm thinking of joining that one. I was doing a monthly subscription box with BeKind and I love the t-shirts because they are tie-dyed but after a while, I could not have another BeKind T-shirt because I have too many.

I took a Southwest package vacation, I think 5 days/4 nights, with my girlfriend Elaine in 2002. I don't gamble, she did, but we had a wonderful time just walking around the strip. I took a side trip to the west rim of the Grand Canyon the day after we arrived (23 miles of unpaved road through the Mojave Desert at 7 AM). We went to the Hoover Dam but didn't get the chance to explore much of it. We did see Cirque de Soleil "Mystere" and we were thrilled. Went up in the Stratosphere; stopped at the Bellagio to watch the fountains; wanted to go to the Liberace Museum but didn't have time (we were two of a kind!) Elaine is gone now and I miss her desperately. I don't regret one red cent I spent on that trip. I have had several colonoscopies but I have a twisted intestine (TMI?) and they can't get the tube all the way up (TMI) so now I do Cologuard and since cancer is such an epidemic, I'm all for colonoscopies though I do wish the prep didn't taste like seawater. I would love to see the Barbie movie!
