I think my favorite thing about the World map versus ACW is that the US shows up about as often as it should considering its size. ACW goes for a more balanced approach so that large and small countries appear with equal frequency, but because of nation size and where Google's coverage is the result is a VERY VERY Europe-heavy map. That's good for meta memorizers, but bad for regional balance, it's kind of boring to get so so much Europe and almost no North America, that's not balance. So as an American it's nice watching these World videos where the US actually exists, in other Geoguessr maps you can forget that...

The Berkeley County Mass guess that you said was Maryland is technically correct, you are in Maryland on a bridge heading into Berkeley County West Virginia. Maryland controls the waterway on the Potomac River that is under the bridge you are on, due to the C&O canal being on the Maryland side of the Potomac.
