I really enjoy it and I hope you can add some membership areas. If you could have some user submitted locations that would be cool. I could add some amazing locations that would stump a lot of people.

I would absolutely love to see you do more work on it. I've been trying to register on the website for a while now but it just hasn't been working. It's a super cool concept and has so much potential!!

@@Box0rz Bro was like "hmmm, this one is difficult, but it kinda looks like this place where you have to go for a quest called "insert quest name". So he barely recognises the quite famous area, but instantly knows the exact name of the quest lmao

If I recall right, the funny thing is 10k stack looks exactly the same as 4m and so on... Scam tactic to use newer players to go out of safe place.

I think every runescape player has their own story on how they got scammed at some point. It’s an essential part of the learning experience.

@@Box0rz the worst for me was being told my rune legs were worth less than the black med help from the wildy. Naturally I made the trade.

@@Box0rz For me i have 2 stories, 1 is that i just had brainfart and got tradescammed like 20m", and cooler story would be when my friend used my account to do woodcutting for money,little did i know he also used my account for armor trimming scam xD, got 3 day ban . good times

Same, I'm French and we're all very bad at speaking English, but because of quests and needing to talk to other players (no French translation in the old days, and very few Canadian or French servers), I quickly became one of the best in English class at high school, and later it was way easier to read English tutorials and become a software developer, because the French speaking world has fewer people around the world, if you want specific things, it's usually better in English. I'm even typing this on a QWERTY keyboard that doesn't have French accents (éèàûç...) but I'm using an international layout, because the French AZERTY sucks, you need to press shift for 12345, so for all games that do not directly support AZERTY you have to remap everything, also software development characters like "[]{};/.," are badly placed, but I digress. I'm glad Runescape gave me precious skills and a way out of getting bullied at school and feeling bad about life, a place where I felt powerful and respected, might have dropped out without it. I read the book Betrayal at Falador by RS player T. S. Church too, and now I read most books by English authors in English to avoid losing meaning and puns in translations.

Saw a KZfaq video of someone playing Skyrim in French. I think I'll be trying that next time I play Skyrim.

not true since it still has 50% bots and everyone has 7 alts playing at once, but sure still is alive! Content wise its just not as good as rs3 but still a gem of a game

@@TheWesen18 50% is a massive exaggeration but still puts it at a higher player count than RS3 lol. RS3 has some cool things but man it feels like a mobile game with all of the MTX and P2W schemes. Just logging in feels bad because it bombards you with a dozen different "Click here to buy X" popups. Don't forget to spin the daily wheel and open your daily lootbox and scratch your daily card and uncover your daily treasure!

Same here. Approx 20 year break and now just finished *many* gruelling days levelling up about half of my stats from 65 to 75. And now I'm really not sure why :P

I think many people played back on the day because it was an easy game to run. Plus being played in a browser you could play it on any PC.

Hopefully you mean that you installed runelite. The vanilla client is way underdeveloped compared to the open-source project of runelite, which contains a plethora of useful plugins and QoL features.
