Only this guy could look at a random photo of a street and say "yep we're in the south of Israel"
@Cubeforc33 жыл бұрын
Even without seeing the sign in Hebrew this is pretty easy to pinpoint: The style of houses looks very Israeli - if you ever see any news about the Settlements in the West Bank the houses all look like that. The yellow car plates in a warm looking country is another giveaway, as well as the lines on the side of the road. If you've ever visited Israel (or played a lot of Geoguessr) then you can tell within seconds. The area looks kind of flat so it rules out the north of Israel as it's more hilly. The houses look fairly new so rules out most of the older cities. The ground looks red and the area looks dry so that kind of points towards more of the south of Israel. It looks too dry to be directly on the coast. I probably would've guessed a suburb of Beer Sheva or something.
@endelvelt76503 жыл бұрын
all you need to know is the yellow car plate and general drier climate to whittle it down to Israel, it's one of the easier ones to guess
@kirinc-s.71563 жыл бұрын
Israel is actually pretty easy to guess. The landscape is unique, first of all. but the main things is that they have yellow plates, and the Netherlands, Colombia, UK, and Luxembourg are the only other ones with yellow plates if I'm not mistaken. But you can always tell the difference between those and Israel. Also, Hebrew is only spoken in Israel.

He did say he would in a previous video but honestly a lot of it is because he kind of knows what places look like, ontop of subtle details and the position of the sun, ontop of a bit of intuition.
@JesusGreenBL3 жыл бұрын
Generally he does if he spots something specific but I think with Geoguessr it often comes down to intuition - once you've seen places before, you start to recognise them, and it's sometimes hard to explain why. As an example of this, I live in Poland these days and while I'm not the best at Geoguessr in general, I usually recognise when Geoguessr plops me down here due to living here, even if there are no visible signs/text - but I can't really narrow it down to a specific thing that makes me realise. It just looks like Poland to me. The buildings, the trees, the roads, everything.
@YeeSoest3 жыл бұрын
F.ex. I noticed after 3 days there why the houses on the Costa Blanca look so different from Germany even if they have similar size and material: NO DRAINPIPES ! The roof just...ends...they have so little rain they don't need them. That kind of observation helps immensely. Are there street lights? Manholes? What's the pavement made of? Is the road in good shape?

The amount of people on the Nightey's reddit confession post that are willing to forgive him like it was no big deal is mind-blowing. Cheaters in online games are the scum of the earth. Its even worse that it was in competitive tournaments too. Knowing you got eliminated from a round because that loser was cheating the whole time would be infuriating. Its sad that he has such little going for him in real life that he has to resort to cheating in an online game to get people to respect him.
@alexsantoro5973 жыл бұрын
I’m completely new to this whole drama but how did he cheat in geoguesser? Especially a tournament?
@klax0013 жыл бұрын
@@alexsantoro597 @Alex Santoro He had a second account that he would use to get the answers for the first 4 locations by just clicking somewhere on the map and then he would stop on the last round/location so that account he wouldn't end up finishing the game. He would then switch over and quickly play on his real account now that he had 4/5 of the answers. They initially suspected something when he was getting really bad Chatguesser scores where he couldn't cheat like that so they looked at his play history and found out his 5th round guesses were usually really bad. They also were able to look up how long he spent on rounds in past games, and many of his amazing guesses were done in less than 10 seconds. The final nail in the coffin was when they were able to identify his sock puppet accounts in the past games and tournaments. Tom linked the video explaining it in better detail in the description of this video, but that's the gist of it.
