In this WIRED Autocomplete Interview, 'London Has Fallen' star Gerard Butler answers the internet's most searched questions about himself. Is Butler Irish? Is Gerard engaged?
"ONE OF THE most fun (and weirdest) parts of Googling someone is seeing what the search tool's Autocomplete function says are the most common searches about that person. For actors and actresses people always seem to want to know if they're dead. (They're usually not.) One such actor is London Has Fallen's Gerard Butler, a man whose ticklishness and Irish-ness is also something inquiring/Googling minds want to know. In an attempt to solve some of these mysteries, we decided to go straight to the source. Watch the video above for Butler's answers to a lot of the questions people ask Google about him. (Spoiler: He is ticklish, but not entirely Irish. He is also not dead.)"

Love how despite the negative reviews on the Phantom of the Opera film, some people will always remember Gerard as the Phantom. While I love the Broadway version, he gave it more emotion than any stage performancr can ever show.

Just to get one thing straight here. He is my favourite phantom, ever, regardless of what other people say and and/or think his singing and his voice made me ugly cry, appreciate him, feel for the phantom, cheer for the phantom, be scared of the phantom and he captivated me and he touched my soul and heart in my deepest feels with them vocals and appearance as the phantom. He IS the Phantom of the Opera, for me. Period. End of discussion.

I really enjoyed his signing in Phantom. Expressive, I'm a rock & heavy metal guy, and I have a big thing for deeper voices. That debate is really about theatre vs. movies. Movies have professional level acting that theatre can't replicate. Theatre has professional level singing that movies can't replicate. Both are great for different reasons.

The reason Gerald Butler doesn't want to talk about 300 is because of all the hate he got from it, yes it was his breakthrough role but it made a lot of people really butthurt. There were death threats to Butler from Iranians and Turks because of how it portrayed Greeks and how it portrayed Persianate cultures. Add to that a lot of critics took the film as being some type of historical documentary, with the portrayal of individuals and the societies and morals presented in the movie. Yes it is retarded but that is why he never talks about 300.

Gerard Buttler is a great actor and the first time I saw him was on Attila the Hun and he was so handsome and gorgeous and I love his accent and he has a beautiful voice he's my favorite Phantom I love you Gerry ❤️💜💋💝👏👍😊
