You are so right, Dimash does have absolute pitch. This was discovered when he was age five and being interviewed for admission to the music school in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He could also identify all the individual notes they played for him, and volunteered that their piano at home was out of tune. The Super Vocal Boys are all professional, well trained musicians as well, so I imagine that is why they all blended together so perfectly. This was a Chinese show in 2019 a bit like Singer but for opera singers and Dimash was there as a judge and he performed this with the finalists, they are not a group only for this show, as a guest, he guested at Singer each year and this was his 2019 appearance which sadly was his last as the show ended in 2020 and he was sad that covid prevented him from joining his friends again. He toned his singing down a bit to blend in with their vocals as he is a very generous performer with others. He is clearly the most versatile and controlled vocalist here, although the others are extremely good he still had to keep it down for them. I love this, it's so good and Queen would be proud to have heard this tribute, especially Freddy. Brian May found out that Dimash sang a Queen song on Singer and was very impressed and congratulated him, so maybe he did hear this, who knows I like to think maybe he has 💖

The tenor singer is Ayanga. He is from Mongolia and has a very interesting background. He has many songs on KZfaq, in groups and solo. The Super Vocal program initially focused on male singers trained in Bel Canto. I have listened to their different seasons and all are outstanding.

The super vocal boys are from a chinese show, where 36 super vocals perform. The boy next to Dimash is called Ayanga They are all very talented and highly educated young men. A total of 36 singers from 25 universities participated, focusing on Bel Canto, Classical Crossover and Operatic Pop. The guy on Dimash's left is Ayanga (31) means Thunder, is originally from Inner Mongolia who travelled at 16 to Beijing and studied at the Beijing Dance Acadamy. He is a musical theatre actor, singer, dancer. The guy to the left of him is Cai Chengyu (23), an opera singer. The guy on the right of Dimash is Frank Ju (Ju Hongjuan - 28).

The Super Vocal was a competition for opera and musical singers. The quality of the singers was absolutely stunning. Every week the 6 winners/principals of the previous week had to chose so sing solo or chose partners for a duet, trio or more from the rest of the 36 singers, choose a song and work out an arrangement and harmonies to suit their particular voices. There was not one average singer in that show. This were 3 of the 6 winners. The man in the middle next to Dimash is Ayunga from Mongolia. If you are interested in stunning and very creative and unusual arrangements with high quality trained singers (their version of Sound of Silence comes immediately on mind) the show will blow you away - all episodes are with subs on YT. I can highly recommend Ayunga, Zhou Shen, Wang Xi, Zheng Yulong... just to mention my personal favorites.

And what a finale it was! I cannot understand them, but the music transcends conversation, and Singer 2019 was a fascinating show.
