Because they only recreate the German one while they just found the British tank and restored the parts that make it move you can tell it’s old cause the gun is about to spin whenever they turn and the paint looks like it was rained on for a hundred years and the dust and well I guess everything

If anyone is wondering why they're squeaking so much, it's because they're stripped of their original treads. When being used by civilians, they have to be fitted with rubber treads (partially to prevent damage to roads).

The only original A7V in existence is located at the Australian War Memorial. Australian soldiers captured the tank in WWI and brought it home with them. The tank is named "Mephisto".

In WWI these were the first of their kind, nobody else had seen anything like these vehicles. Look pretty pathetic to us who have seen tanks like the Abrams, but 100 odd years ago? Would’ve had a different reaction.

roadkillben sorry to bring the comment section back to life. But these are re productions. The A7V tank is definitely a replica, since the only surviving A7V from WW1 out of the 20 made is mephitso and it's in Australia and doesn't run. The roofs front was blown off by a mortar round.
