It is my understanding this song was written personally for Frank Sinatra by Paul Anka. a terrific songwriter and singer in that period. A wonderful song that Frank Sinatra was and sang.

I've loved Sinatra forever. But, I love his earlier music more than this song. Everyone reacts to this one but he is so much more than this. Thank you for reaction.

I think the earlier stuff makes you appreciate the weight of these lyrics for him. If there is even a just ok Sinatra song, I have not heard it. He could sing the phone book and it would chart.

This is a classic but the writer was an Atheist and died a lonely man. I always loved this song till I found this out. Then it just is heartbreaking 💔
