The airsoft replicas are indeed nice. The grenades are expensive and a pain in the butt to reload but once you get used to it it's not that bad. They can really help you out in a pinch if you play airsoft too. I wouldn't use them as a primary but it's a great shouldered option to have or if you can mount on on an under barrel like this one then it would be sick.

My Uncle Marky, was a ground pounder with the U.S. Army for two tours in the Vietnam War. He was there for Tet. ( The Tet Offensive). His M.O.? The M-79 grenade launcher. The first "blooper". He affectionately called it his " thump gun" During his tours of combat he became so good at using it he no longer used the site most times. One of his fellow combat veterans ( a brother in arms) told me that. He said my Uncle Marky could even listen to the Viet Cong as they came through the jungle at "pop" one at them and hit them every time. In his own words he said of my uncle's proficiency with the M-79 grenade launcher " it was spooky". My Uncle Marky lived through the Vietnam War, but, his name should be on the Wall Memorial. Why? After the war he suffered from PTSD unbeknownst to psychological treatment at that time. He would have recurring nightmares where he would jump out of bed, grab his M- 1911 45 cal. And scream commands in Vietnamese. Needless to say, it eventually caused his divorce from the love of his life. He was an Irving Texas police officer, he did a great job and was promoted to Sargent during his career. Until on one burglary call he caught the Perp coming out of the back of the house and started yelling and screaming in Vietnamese. The burglar was wearing all black. My Uncle said he saw V.C. ( what my family believes to be a "flash back", when people who have been through great danger and seen horrible things, will, momentarily, hallucinate or believe that they are back where the trauma occurred.) The P.D. he worked for put him on administrative leave until a psychological exam could be conducted. You see he not only screamed Vietnamese at the Perp but beat the hell out of him with his pistol butt. He told us he thought, really believed, he was back " in the shit" as he put it, back in Vietnam. After his divorce, his job as a police officer was all he had. He never had a good night's rest since coming home my Grandfather told me. He was continually fatigued. I remember distinctly my Uncle Marky called me into his room one day and, because I was into playing "Army" with my buddies ( we would buy uniforms from the surplus stores and play war with our toy rifles we would really dress up the part) and he gave me all his military pins and medals. Of course I was elated! Wait till my buddies see me wearing these! I thought. Two days later I heard my mother bellow out the most shocked and mornful scream. I ran from the backyard into the house to the living room. I saw my Mother laying on the floor and weeping. That's when I found out my Uncle Marky was dead. He committed suicide. A single bullet through the roof of his mouth. He had left a note which only said " I'm sorry I hope that all of you will forgive me if you can't understand. Now I will be able to sleep. I won't be a burden any more ". Yes now you know why I say my Uncle Marky should have his name on the wall of the Vietnam Memorial. The Vietnam War killed him as sure as if he had been felled in the Jungles of Vietnam. He honorably discharged in 1968. He died from self inflicted wounds in 1979. From what my Grandfather told me he lasted through 10 years of silent suffering but the War finally killed him. I hope this history of my family member doesn't offend anyone, it's just this short brought it all back. Remember if you meet any of our combat veterans, thank them. They went and go through a hell of which we civilians can only imagine all to help us, to preserve our way of life... Freedom. Thank them sincerely.

sorry to hear that. it reminded me of the scene in Apocalypse Now, where martin sheen is tripping on acid i think and shoots vc across the valley with an m79. it was a fucked up war, just like all wars, and its hard to fix those problems still. but NOW there is a treatment that has a very high success rate now. look up marcus and amber capone, they run a non profit to help vets get this treatment for free. i believe our vietnam vets are the best we ever produced. and we owe it to them to help in any way we can. spread the word on this treatment so we can help them rest from their experiences.

People give the soldiers so much hate even though it’s the politicians who forced them (YES- FORCED via the draft) to be there. The soldiers were put in life or death scenarios and did what they had to to survive. The only people who deserve the hate is the politicians who put them there.

This is a good reminder that USA's war crimes affect his people too. To learn these wars were a shame, not something to be proud of. USA lost that war and were did its freedom went? Anywere, cause it wasn't at stake in the first place. The only ones with their freedom at play were the Vietnamese, and USA was a foreign invasor they never offended. I guess USA won't understand until the same happens to them, then they will gain some empathy and compassion for once.

Same. I once made a shot at 375 yards through the window of a crane downrange. You just get used to the trajectory and Kentucky Windage guess. I don't see any real advantage that the 203. "It side loads" so? Add an upgrade to can't the 203 and you don't need to spend millions developing a new gun.

I carried the M32 MGL for 3/1 Lima. If you can get your hands on it, that would be an awesome review for people who haven’t seen it. The system fires at 150 fps, a range for a point target at 250 feet, and a splash target at 350, with a mer of 400 feet with virtually no recoil. Plus, if you could get HEDP rounds, it’s a beautiful show.

HK M320. Derived from the HK AG36 grenade launcher attachment that was originally used with the host HK G36 assault rifles(although HK G36C would have trouble otherwise due to the difference in barrel length). It was made to replace the M203 grenade launcher, but the replacement phase has been going really slow due to some reasons, mainly their love for M203 and its simplicity, not to mention, have a slimmer profile compared to the M320.

@Ryan Estes but hey you fking can if you really want and that's the fucking beuty with US. You're lucky listen to this. You couldnt even get something like that even if you tried to get it illegal in sweden. Now sweden has the most guncrime in almost all of Europe per 100.000 citizens and we are not permitted to even bear knifes on the streets. Handguns license is for strict use inside sporting club gunranges only and supposed to be locked up in huge safe while not on range, and .22 is about it. Ofcourse hunting rifles are permitted too after the same long exam in hunting and gun security called jägarexamen (hunterexam) as you obviously has to do for the handguns too, but remember you cannot bring this gun up in the open anyway.. So that's how the grenade launcher iron sight works. I've been wondering why they need to be that high in video games. Thanks, mate

Putting it on the AR reminds me of the Terminator TS-7 Toy gun i used to have back in ze day. Basically a light up sword that has a machine gun sheath you can mount it in, and, when you do, the sound effects and lighting change to that of a gun or laser rifle depending on which attachments are on the gun. Culminating in the Terminator TS-7 rifle with both attachments in their proper place.

I prefer the 203. Granted, it's not really designed to be a stand alone weapon but, it is lighter and easier to maneuver when mounted on an AR platform. This thing is still pretty cool though, I've shot them before and they work great.
