Hi Samantha! Blenders usually struggle with dates but you could give it a try!

Could you swap out the Cocoa powder with a Chocolate vegan protein powder to give this treat a bit more protein?

We haven't tried these with chocolate protein powder and can't guarantee results, but if you're interested we suggest using half protein half cocoa to keep the intense chocolate flavor. Let us know if you try it!

A German chocolate cake is a popular dessert, at least in the US. It isn't really German, but that's what it is called.

German Chocolate Cake was a hit ever since it was developed by Sam German for Baker's Chocolate Company. This cake is filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. This recipe is a variation of the original recipe.
