Nope. Maps are smaller in wows blitz. However you can recon using an aircraft carrier by launching your fighters. I usually do that in every battle.

andaikatalah I mean I guess, but then adding one for decorative purpose is fine as well since a empty catapult does feel lacking on Ships. But again, if reconnaissance planes are not possible, maybe Fighters?

@@UgglemannenFTW Japanese Torps do a lot of damage due to its caliber (For Japanese DD Shimakaze it is 610mm the biggest in its tier). Shimakaze the tier X Japanese DD has 3x quintiple Torpedo Launcher giving her 15 Torps in 1 salvo (others Japanese DD can't one-shot a BB because of fewer torpedo count usually around 8 torps per salvo. Other DDs of other nations like the US has 15 torps but suffers from low caliber around 500mm). So pretty fair for a tier X ship since Shimakaze is vulnerable to being penned with HE due to her low armour. And a poor turning radius for a DD. Japanese DDs also suffer from long torpedo reload and extremely poor AAA in comparison with other DDs. It's only strong points is speed, detectability, torpedo range and torpedo firepower, Take note that Shimakaze will only be able to kill you in 1 salvo if at least 6 - 15 Torps will hit you (depending on tier and ship type) Counters to Shimakaze 1. Predict and know obvious routes that DDs often go and torpedo paths that DDs often make and adjust for range for Jap DDs. 2. Be supported by other Cruisers and Destroyers. Cruisers with high rate of fire and great HE potential can easily erase shimakaze. DDs especially the new German ones can help in detecting and obscuring Shimakaze's route and attack plan with their own torps and Sonar. 3. If you have a carrier it would be very useful of them to use their planes to scout for shimakaze and other DDs to adjust for course in gameplay. Conclusion. Overall if your team knows what to do then shimakaze is no threat at all. Also be happy that they did not give the tier 7 Japanese DD Shiratsuyu a torpedo reload perk or else 16 torps.

@@bephkai6158 Yes I know the reasons but the thing is its op. Hard to detect with smokes and 1shot capability is too much. If you accidently have loaded AP as a yamoto you will only do around 400 dmg which is bullshit. Sure you can deal more dmg with HE but its way too weak still.
