Voice of the Century, she was 15 here, 20 now. Unique, inspiring, and awe inspiring.

Laura is a self-taught singer. Her mom sang around the house and Laura also liked to sing. Well one day as they were singing Laura went to reach for a high note and this voice came out. So they went to the internet and found instruction videos that she used to hone her voice with. Laura is an American born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is 50% Romanian on her fathers side. They spend a big part of their time in Romania. She is still learning the language. Her younger sister Estera have sung a couple of duets. Laura has sung with singers like Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Lara Fabian and The Tenors to name a few. She finished 4th on AGT 2016 after winning a golden buzzer award from one of the judges. But she was definitely an audience favorite. She is also a physically beautiful young woman and as sweet and humble as a person can be these days. Thanks for your honest reaction to (16) Laura. I agree with some of what you said. The radio thing I believe is true also. This wasn't even scratching the top of the iceberg. She can even hit a high Eb7 & as low as D3-E3 by the time she was 16. Laura is 20 now ( & will be 21 on DOB is 4-7-02) & starting to take off in her career. When Laura won Romania's Got Talent in 2016 she was 13. She donated half of her prize money (about 120,000 euros) to help the poor and underprivileged in that country. She has since gone on to do numerous concert performances and has released a number of singles. She donates half of the income from that to the poor and needy as well. She made it to the finals & she didn't want to sign with ATG just like Angelina Jordan & she got 6th place also (she didn’t sign). But now Laura & Angie are on their way to being bigger than AGT, In real life, Laura is a kind, loving respectful & giving Christian girl. She did great in Eurovision Romania in 2019, She sings Opera Aria’s/Operatic Pop/Pop/Christian & Crossover. Laura just signed with Universal Music Family in Nov. 2020. Even David Foster invited her for his annual Foundation event. Laura has over 100 video’s out there in different locations. (Now the reason she lost believe it or not) it was political). The Audiance & the Judges gave her the highest marks, but the country's/audiance vote at the time only counted for 15%. These 2 guest judges they had from England showed on their site on a pre-listen, they liked Laura the best & the one that won, they kind of liked 2nd. Until right before Laura's performance, some person showed the 2 guest judges a PA that was used showing that she's a Christian & believed in the Bible about marriage & she showed no hate or anything else. They instantly hated her & gave her the lowest marks & the the other girl the highest marks & she barely won by just those 2 points that they made. They went back to England all happy & on their site they bragged about it & said a person like her has now right to win & they other girl who believes in their ideology does. Man did they piss off Romania. Even a lot off gays were pissed that they would not judge on talent but on their own ideology. The 2 lost a lot of followers & didn't care cause people will still come & see their channel. Laura has worked with people in the business & has always been loving towards all. So Laura got 2nd for Romania. Her sister Estera is very good too. (She was born & raised in Chicago ILL. USA & has dual Citizenship). Here's some more songs she did amazingly. In my opinion Laura is the true voice of the third millennium, a phenomenon gifted to sing classical music. The fact that she sings pop music is a bonus proving her vocal versatility. A few month after AGT, when she was barely 15, even without mastering her vocal techniques, she managed to stun the audience at an opera music concert performing the opera aria "Vissi D'Arte" by Giacomo Puccini ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/guBkZbNe0NvOp30.html ). The reason Laura didn't make it to the finals is because two of the judges were homosexuals and She had said that A family was made of man a woman and their children so they didn't take likely to that and voted against her, Laura and her sister Estera are exceptionally great Singers,

There was a big upset here, she was the clear talent winner, but she had a politically incorrect view on some commercial at the time and the show basically made someone with clearly less talent win for political reasons. There's videos on the whole thing and it's quite shocking what went on there.

The story of this song is very sad. This was definitely the crowds favourite, the whole country wanted Laura to represent us. But the jury was rigged and influenced by political aspects. This song was one of the best ones, yet in the jury's voting it came out in 2nd to the last position. To understand its impact, in the public vote it came first, and the song that won came last !! The public voting propulsed Laura to the 2nd spot of the final chart (it was 50% public voting and 50% jury) and it was very close to winning, but still Ester Peony won Selectia Nationala. She was good but she did not represent what that country wanted, so she unfortunately got a lot of hate. I hate Eurovision bcs of its politic influences.
