You know how he says that in his time in high school they mostly had theoretical physics taught as opposed to doing stuff in labs? That’s how it is also was in Soviet schools and is like that in most post soviet countries. When I came to live in the US as a high school student I was surprised there were always labs done. I think a lot of it is a waste of time because often a lab is done to demonstrate something that should be self evident regardless whether you did an experiment in the lab to demonstrate some thing.

Agreed, but I think if you have excelled to a very high degree in learning a non-native language, you are entitled to speak with the most natural and comfortable accent to you. Having said that, I don't really think anyone should feel pressured to drop their mode and manner of speech, regardless of proficiency. So we enjoy this on similar ground. 😁

When this guy has learned and achieved so much, what can most of us, who are just regular mortals even hope to achieve that’s even close to this guy? I mean many of us including myself didn’t have the luck or resources to get good enough education either because the path to college was difficult, or we had to focus on other difficulties in life, or who knows what else. It’s depressing. That guy can face the end of his life and know he achieve a lot. He probably has at least 3 children too.
