Schwer zu sagen für mich. Habe schon Spaß mit der Linie, aber greife auch gerne mal auf Aki, Kita oder Hsien Yang zurück.

Leberecht Maass has always had 128mm I think, they feel just as nice and punchy at doing it’s job as the 150mm on the Z39, but reload faster and have better shell trajectories (gut feeling), and the RR1 on Z39 doesn’t feel like a huge firepower boost imo.

No . The 150 MM guns in the past were fitted to tier VI and up ....

Ernst Gaede had the 150mms before an update brought them down to 128mm and I think someone was telling me how z-23 had 150mms very early on too. I'm not sure

Entirely possible. I remember most of the line having 150s, until the split

I wish I had gotten more screenshots from my old account before I technically lost access to it, cause I joined wowsb right after it was created and was around for the german dds and bbs were released before the device my account was on was destroyed.

As far as I remember, before I stopped playing years ago, the Z52 line was fitted with 150mm guns, tier 6 onwards except tier 8(or all of them has 150? Damn). And I remember those 150s doesn't have the German AP in Blitz that's why they were DD Hunters even in early patches. Then they got refitted with the 128mm guns, now with German AP pen, because the Elbing line was soon to be released. Z52 line kept their role, and Elbing line mainly hunts cruisers.

I also have the Z39, got it from the Shipyard a while ago. I played it yesterday, great fun. My captain does not have the APCS skill, so overpens are not that much of an issue, I can still get full pens by aiming for the main belt. Torpedoes are good. Still reminds me of the days when the German DD's had 150mm guns (Gaede and I'm very sure up to Z23 but I could be wrong). Great DD

Personally, I actually prefer the 128s with higher rate of fire. Still devastating against DDs, and can take on a cruiser in a pinch. The faster torp reload is nice to have as well. Not a must-have DD, but not bad. And for everyone who wants a free one, they can take the tech tree.

@@FunandGameswithTerry The higher rate of fire does indeed pack a punch on enemy DD's. The guns are the gimmick of the German DD's, not necessarily torpedo boats. I like the German DD's and how I can get rid of the threat to the battleships.

Yep, Gaede and Nimi have 150mm. Maass, Z46, Z52 have 128.

Leberecht Maass always had 128mm guns. Ernst Gaeda started with 150mm but got changed to 128 when the Elbing line came out. I think there was one other on the traditional line that got switched to 128mm. I didn't like that switch because the real ship actually did have 150mm.

Luv dis boat, alongside Sims it's a best tier VII dd in the blitz. Completely different boats all in all but both are 🔥indeed ! 11 And if you are rich or lucky enough to have a Mainz in the port them can share a captain, skill wise

I dont particularly like german dds as i fall for IJN dds but i started to see elbing as something else and really terror for holding the cap as she have sea mines plus beautiful guns All in all its good games with that dd

It's a good ship, and if someone likes it but doesn't want to spend money, they can take out the tech tree one, which is mostly equivalent.

das sind alles solche blitzpass indianapolis(se??). die kann man nicht ausbauen und ne camo geht auch nicht drauf. hatte teilweise 5 von denen in einem gefecht. diese limitierten schiffe sind echt nervig. ja das ding hat radar

Ach, waren die als Leihgabe wieder verfügbar? Ja, das ist nicht immer gut... Ich erinnere mich noch an die kostenlose WV, die mal an Spieler verteilt wurde, die sich lange nicht mehr angemeldet hatten. Das ging auch eher daneben...

hab das ding mal aus irgendeiner kiste bekommen. spiel das mit Höchstgeschwindigkeit im dritten slot. herumzippen und schießen. gespottet ist man da eh.
