They should stop giving useless skills to ships. The DFAA is laughable it only gets british tier 6 AA while it's active.

WG came out with OP ships line Smolensk and Atlantico, I suppose it's time for them to give us a clunker.

Great review. Strange ship, I dunno, I mean didn't played her because of reasons... But the data seems really a bit strange. Friesland does 38,5 knots while played with speed module. Has faster reloading guns while having more AA, better smokes and higher fire chance. For sure she has no Torpedos and worse ap, but that's not how she is played like. But then you have shimakaze or Italian DDS. So overall you find better premium ships for all roles and even better free techtree ships. So yeah she is supposed to be versatile, but too bad in every single category 😅😅 you would always take another ship instead. Btw. The jinjan outchmatches a Smolensk in raw firepower. A few more shots per minute and actually a bit more dmg overall. She does a few less fires, but I found this to be kinda interesting. Still would say. The Smolensk is in raw gun.power probably more scary in terms of fire setting and stuff.

A little buff would make that thing good imo - Friesland has 4 120mm DP Bofors, this thing has 5 128mm guns that used to sit on an AA defence tower protecting Berlin. Granted, post-war fire control and such makes all the difference, but give her comparable large-calibre AA, and we're talking. Or Gearing torp range. Or 3kn more base speed. Anything.

Imo, WG is not gonna buff the ZF-6. They gonna be like "nah ship is good as it is." When I saw that it said it was an AA DD, yea I had a feeling WG was gonna do something like this. WG has an interesting definition of what an AA ship is. But yea, I do hope it gets a speed buff or get that DEF AA switched out for a Sonar, which would be more useful.

I don't automatically attribute more skill as the tiers go up.Many a high scores are provided by people who passively play. The opposite is true with seal clubbing. There are plenty of clubbers there as well.

It was sent for review earlier. I record videos on the weekend, so if I get a ship on Thursday or Friday, it's unlikely to make it into the following week, since I won't have time to test it. If we get them a week before release date or so, that's a different story.

If her main battery is based on 128mm AA guns why is her range so short? I’d have thought 51 caliber guns would have plenty of reach Regardless, it’s certainly a boat I’ll skip.

Let's say that there's at best a tenuous connection between the historical machinery and in-game mechanics. Especially common ranges in game would often have been considered point blank for engagements.

128mm/L45 as in 45 calibers 12.8cm×45=gun tube length. The Frechy has 128mm/61. 61what?

Barrel length in calibres, presumably. It's a land-based gun that was never mounted on ships, although there were plans to do so. This thing navweaps.com/Weapons/WNGER_5-61_flak40.php

Yeah, can imagine. A couple of German ships, I think Bismarck among them, have been referred to as "he" by their crews, but generally in English & German, ships are female. Other nations are different, I think the Italians also use "he" for warships, but not sure.
