ENGLAND didn't beat Germany in the war; it was primarily the Soviet Union that weakened the German military to the extent that the US, UK and others more or less 'paddled through' what was left of the German military. ... however no disrespect to brave personnel in the 'Allies' who were part of the war.

Yes I remember the story of the Japanese soldier I was in Guam about 3 months after he was discovered they needed to have his commanding officer still living come to the island in Guam and convinced him the war was over it for him to surrender
