I have both German and Russian colleagues and you will eventually see who among them are best attitude and professionalism-wise with a wide gap. German colleagues are strong-willed and is highly-intelligent people but is down to earth, open-minded and rational thinkers. Russian colleagues has "always" this old way of medieval thinking that thinks about being strong people with stubborness (impact), provocating and insensitive (if not less-sensitive). Given the fact that the US and UK has proven high quality intelligence on Russian military intentions given the fact that they knew in advance of the invasion of Ukraine. I suspect they also have an understanding what else Russia is planning and whilst they will not make that public, the governments will know which explains why we are getting these warnings now. We in the west need to invest heavily in our military to deter Russia or we will need to face the prospect of going to war unprepared.
