Partnachklamm is in Garmisch-Parternkirchen. An area known for skiing and a famous Olympic Skiing Jumping slope and a bobsleigh course. However, it is also a beautiful place for hiking and can be done as a day trip from Munich.

Nothing that requires special preparation but I do enjoy a nice walk in the nature. There some lovely trails not far from London.

@@Svenywhere Hadleigh Country Park is a nice countryside walk. Deepdene trail was beautiful (I have a video about it if you are interested). Surrey Hills area is just full of beautiful trails and golf courses. The Valey Gardens in Virginia Water - loved it, beautiful park (makes one green area together with Windsor Great Park and Royal Landscape) with some very interesting and random things around the park. And then the rest are not tested so can't recommend.

The color of the gorge water is such a beautiful blue! The lake's is so still, it is a perfect reflection of the mountain

I just love hiking. The contrast of the gorge and the sound of the water in comparison up high in the mountains is just amazing.

Had no idea about Partnachklamm gorge, but I'm very glad I found out about it thanks to your vlog. The view is so beautiful and the water looks amazing! The perfect one day trip from Munich

The Gorge looks amazing!! Great footage of all the rock formations as well. Hiking is great, I love it myself because of those views you get when you hike high like you did, great views.

Munich is a great city. I was only there for 3 days but the small time I had to walk around was great!

I have yet to visit Germany. The train ride time seems great. The river is very pretty. Looked crowded down at the gorge. Good tip to bring a jacket. I agree 5 euros seems worth it. Love the landscapes.

It wasn't that crowded to be fair. The path is just really small so you will always have moments you have to overtake other people or you will be overtaken.

What a great hike, it's nice to have the mix of the amazing but busy gorge and then those beautiful meadow mountains! Makes me think our next Germany trip might be Munich!

The only time i have been to Munich is when i was on my way to Salzburg. Really would love to visit this city again (mainly to see Bayern Munich play :) ) This is really useful to know how to get around and to see some of the best things to do

Yeah I didn't cover much of Munich in this video. Would love to return to this place just for covering more of Munich. However, I would love even more to go back to Salzburg, do some hiking in Tirol and visit Vienna again.

Probably. Maybe also the problem is that Germany is a cash oriented country. Not a lot of people are paying by card.

I have never had the opportunity to visit Munich for tourism, so thanks for this video. Partnachklamm is in Garmisch-Parternkirchen, an area known for skiing and a famous Olympic Skiing Jumping slope, I hope I will have the opportunity to see this with my own eyes in the future.

Love your travel channel name, it's so original! We just subscribed (283)! Those views are incredible. We used to live just across the border from Munich in Austria, but never visited this place. The surfing in Munich looks fun. Definitely on my list for the next trip. Great video!

I love Austria. I went to so many places in Austria, almost every summer we went with my parents when I was a kid and did so many hikes. I really need to take my girlfriend once there and do some good hikes!

Oh yeah the Bayern ticket seems like a great deal. That hike would be something my daughter would love, she is very outdoorsy. Did you build a stone tower too? Haha. I love street art and live music.

We are taking our kids to Switzerland in January so won't be too far from here. We would love to include some of Germany in our itinerary but don't think we'll have enough time. The scenery here looks absolutely beautiful though!!

I recommend you to visit Königssee .. the black forest.. Sächsische Schweiz in East Germany...the rhine valley..Spreewald..Rakotz bridge etc. aside from many old towns in Germany like Heidelberg.. Rothenburg etc. Germany boasts numerous spectacular highlights that testify to the diverse landscapes in the heart of Europe. Germans just really care about their privacy. If you pay cash the government can't track you as much as they can when you pay by card.

The area is very easy to hike. No complicated climbs just an easy path. Main tip, make sure you have cash with you to walk through the gorge and take a picture of a map with the hiking routes so you know how to get back home.
