Der reinste Wahnsinn, hab da meine ersten grauen Haare bekommen, da war ich 19 Jahre alt.......doch jedes einzelne war es Wert.......

Hi Cain. I remember this match very well . I was 12 years old at that time. France had a great squad . In my opinion the best 2 teams in the torment were Brazil and France. France was not used to being at this level at the time. We lacked experience, unlike Germany which had already a historical experience in the WC (66, 70, 74). France played well technical which was its strength but also its weakness. We have not been able to adapt to the events.

partidazo espectacular para mi fue uno de los mejores de la historia junto con brasil -francia de 1986 y la final del mundial 2022 yo creo que a francia en este partido la perjudicaron terriblemente porque debio haber sido expulsado schumacher por la violenta falta a battiston dentro del area y debio ser penal ya promediaba el 2do tiempo creo que iban 25 0 30 mts podrian haber ganado ahi francia luego se durmio demasiado en el alargue increiblemente despues de estar 3-1 y se lo empataron pero fue un partido fantastico hasta el ultimo suspiro me gusto mas esa francia de 1982 y 1986 que la de 1998 lejos

Up until the late 80's I think the rule was that a player would be deemed offside regardless of his involvement in the situation, and Rummenigge might have been slightly in front of the defenders in that moment. That said, KZfaq-clips from old matches shows a lot of horrible offside calls..

es que para mi a francia la perjudicaron al no expulsarlo a schumacher por la terrible falta de este dentro del area y ademas penal para mi esa final la debio jugar brasil y francia hubiese sido un partido para alquilar balcones ya que los dos jugaban muy bien al futbol y al ataque lo que son las cosas que 4 años mas tarde se encontraron en mexico 1986 por 4tos aca francia estaba mas armada y brasil no tenia el brillo del 82 pero fue un partidazo espectacular hasta el ultimo penal de fernandez hay que ser sincero francia tuvo la suerte en momentos decisivos como el penal que le atajaron a zico ya promediando el 2do tiempo como asi el que le saco a socrates en la definicion por penales pero tambien hubo un penal claro durante el alargue del portero brasilero carlos que agarro a bruno bellone y lo desestabilizo era penal y no lo sancionaron fue un partido fantastico entre dos equipazos que daban espectaculo
