Commentary Cards are some of my favorite content to make, within Trials of Osiris, as they give the chance to help you guys improve your own skills and mindset in Destiny. Its not hard, I went from having one flawless all the way back in beyond light to then having gone flawless 3 weeks in a row this season, I also went flawless the first week immortal adept was introduced and I didn’t know you could farm adepts and only got two immortals, one of which was the used to be 5/5 immortal

I was farming my Passage of Persistence and I got to 7 wins eveeeentually. Then I went to Trials report to see the meta andI saw that Trials Report considers me "Flawless" this week lol. I didnt go to the Lighthouse or anything, just got an adept. Thanks Trialsreport! It was nice to think I got Flawless for a few secondsl, Trials Report will probably fix that eventually. (Sidenote: Persistence is so good tho. You're just playing Trials stress free not thinking about breaking your card.)

Hey there bub, I wanna say how much I appreciate your narration... I am 50+ years old, brain damage and have a hard time with 3v3 pvp, never been flawless (without paying) and always wished someone would post vidz that explain a players strategy, giving examples and recommendations on how to play strategically and you nailed it. Would love more of these, it takes a ton of repetition for me to retain things nowadays due to brain issue... Your good, fun to watch and informative, what more can a person want in PvP trials video.... My best to you and yours, tho likely you'll never read this. Lol

One thing I'd like to point out about playing cover as well is that you're not just playing for your own safety, but also your teammate's if you do happen to go down. Having your res be out in the middle of nowhere makes it infinitely harder for your team to get you back up.

Also, when swapping from a special ammo weapon to a primary ammo weapon don’t forget to reload because the primary ammo weapon will start out with no ammo loaded.

IDK Jake, like I recently gotten into a 6v6 and noticing a teanate just staring down the same lane I was pushing with my super and not well...SHOOTING. I think most of the PvP player base. Seriously you can even be standing still and they somehow still push on you off your damn cover

When I use wormhusk sometimes the heal + shield doesn't work. Is there some sort of hidden cd between use or is there something I'm not seeing that stops the healing?

tip for everyone out there, but playing apex helped me improve in destiny. learning to be more aggressive, how and when to push and use the advantage you have to keep momentum going is core to that game. after taking a break during forsaken, i played a lot of apex and came back applied what i learned and did SOOO much better at trials. like jake says, keep doing something productive when they pull back to heal.

I’m a pretty above average player and I love watching commentary Vids. They can make me re learn some of these “strats” and implement them in matches, because sometimes I just want to ego challenge the next guy when I’m weak. Very great Video! These are all good tips, but I really enjoyed the part when your team didn't push right away 22:40. As a bad player, I'm often in a bad position. Whether that's literally, over extended, or generally, like lost zone control. Also, what some tips on hyper aggressive players vs super defensive players?

So I’m not a great PvP player but realizing that destiny is way more about positioning and team tactics over just slaying ability has been incredibly helpful especially when playing in a 2 or three stack. It’s obviously important but making sure that your applying positional pressure and getting kills that provide value in the team fight can push you so much higher than you currently are without the need to have godly thumb skill

Lmfao how does a controller bot have the advantage?😂 Pc players move and slide around at mach 10,controller has the advantage in mid range only with certain guns that 'stick' like ammit or sumsht. Pc players can move and do stuff controller can't do in any way and trust me I've tried till I realised I'm wasting my time because you can't replicate the movement on controller and took my sensitivity back down to normal 😂😂.

Here’s a tip for blueberry’s. On heavy round… play heavy… if your last guardian standing and it’s a 1v1, do no let them get a revive for free because your scared to fight them. To many times I’ve seen a 1v1 turn into a 3v1 which is a guaranteed round loss. At least roll the dice in the 1v1 and who knows you may even beat them. Bare minimum though at least trade revives if your going to let them get 1

I’ve played my first pvp games since the rework just earlier. I gotta say pvp feels a lot better. Definitely not fixed by any means. But it’s nice not being spammed as much by hunter bulkshit and titan walls and warlock freeze and strand constantly. I honestly want to play trials to grind for gear and don’t want to shoot myself for it in the first time ever. Curious to see how trials is effected though. I can handle people with good aim or movement. But this annoying ability and one shot combo spam is my issue.

after the changes i just feel dogshit, could be a skill issue but all of a sudden hand cannons feel terrible and for some reason my headshots are just never hitting let alone my shots, special will take a little to get used to but everything feels pretty weird like shots not hitting and more

If it’s 38% but you get ammo when you hit 200% and then you get enough ammo for 2 kills then it would be 6 kills to get ammo or 5 and a death or assist

I would like to say, I think these would be more beneficial for both your perspective and ours if you could possibly borrow someone’s account, I’m only saying that because you honestly are one of the biggest and most popular names/youtubers out there, and when people have you on there team they recognize and play with you. Whereas seems like every game I jump in solo my teammates go opposite directions and play much differently. Love the content, respect ya bro

Jake kind of talks about that in another video. Sometimes the play is to go support your blueberry even if he's not making the "correct" play. You might be able to turn their bad 1v1 into a winnable 2v1, etc.

Im gonna be honest. Tripping about flawless passages is what made me absolutely hate trials. But after i decided to just stop caring. Not only has my gameplay improved but ive been having MUCH more fun. The special ammo change helped with making me like it much more. Getting an adept would be nice but besides adept mods theres little difference between an adept summoner and a normal one.

How do you deal with hand cannon recoil on controller? I keep trying to use 140s and 120s against pc players and I just get wrecked.

140s on controller need at the very least 60 stability. 68 is essentially the spot where the gun resets at the same rate as the fire rate anything more is preference on how much you wanna reduce visual recoil. Rose is an exception and it need 65 cause it has lightweight recoil severity ( which is higher cause lightweights are supposed to be 150 rpm and kick more). 70range-60 stability should be your aim for all HCs if you wanna have a good time, or just learn to use 50 stability which takes practice..( I would know cause I'm a controller Ace player aka a masochist).
