@@RogersRamblings You don't know that for sure. It looks quite authentic as Goodge St tube station. And it wouldn't have been that much bother to film there. And a whole lot of bother to re-create the tube station as you suggest, especially given they wouldn't have had a modern day budget.

@@RogersRamblings I used the tube for years as a passenger so am equally familiar with "tube station construction and decor." You come across amusingly arrogant as if you are the only person who knows anything about the tube. And as a driver you certainly didn't see much of the tube station itself given you simply passed through it. Tube stations change over the years and this was doubtlessly filmed when you were either not born or very very young. Again, you do know for sure this was set so for you to claim it as fact is spurious at best. Closing a tube station for a day to film this short piece or even filming it at night/after hours wouldn't be a big deal. And as the uploader of this video states, it is "1942 b-movie" so therefore budgets for sets wouldn't be as easy as you claim. And it you make the effort to watch the video, the set is certainly more complicated than simply "Throwing up a couple of walls." And yes - I know why they're called tube stations.
