I remember listening to this when I was much younger and being obsessed with it, despite never having played a Zelda game. Now I'm a Zelda fanatic and I still love it, thank you for the nostalgia. I always hear your voice and these lyrics when I listen to this song, after all these years.

If you're saying "this is bad" or "she shouldn't sing" think about this before complaining. First, if you need proof that she has a beautiful voice, just go check out her covers especially the Song of Healing cover. The song shifts octaves frequently. and it's in a difficult key to sing in. You'd have to be a robot to switch between them seamlessly. She's even going out of her vocal range and still lands the notes. Finally, the music makes it very difficult to match words, speed and notes. She could've done an easy song but where's the challenge there? I wish I had half the vocal talent to even attempt a cover like this. It takes talent and courage to attempt a vocal cover of this song and let alone share it with the world. I applaud you for sharing your talents with us and I hope you keep making more. I enjoyed it and come back to it constantly because it's something great and completely different. EDIT: Cleaned my word stew while maintaining my original message.

this song was in my head when I woke up this morning. the verse "they are people with plenty of gold, people who I can see are very bold" played through my head as I rolled over in bed and it was at that moment that I realized the verse made no sense as the main currency of hyrule is rupees.

+Hardin Twentyfive Of course they have honor. Why else would they be feared and respected? But the Sage of Spirit is not a sign of honor. I would say that Nabooru is a sage because she is against Ganondorf. She is kind of a rebell. I think you mean he shows mercy. That, of course, is honorable. :D Ganondorf is sure not the nicest person but he has no reason to kill Zelda. She is more useful to him alive. He doesn't actively try to kill Link at first. In the end he does though. Ganondorf doesn't seem to kill people without a reason. But I can be mistaken.

The only thing I didn't like was the last part with the line "Thieves and robbers, gambling, stealing, killing people, leave the healing, shame and honorless oh but nonetheless THEY'RE ONE OF US" Not meaning to offend you, you're a beautiful singer, but that particular part sounded a bit shrieked. It may have just been your mic glitching though. Sorry for criticizing, I know I can't do better D:

I'm not sure why people start to brag about the lyrics. It's kind of unfair for the original writer of the lyrics because she took the time to write it and I think she deserves positive reactions just for doing that. I don't know why people act all nerdy when it comes to Zelda. I think Zelda is a big beautiful piece of art, that makes you experience every little part of it. The music, the characters, the places and dungeons. It not just solve the puzzle and you win. It so much more to me.

That was really great! I love the lyrics and you have a great voice! There is so much talent on display here! I also agree with a previous poster that this was giving me Disney vibes. You have a perfect Disney Heroine voice! The only thing that I could complain about is two spots in the lyrics... "I can feel them, how they are calling me But who they are is what I cannot see" "Why's my body so filled with fear? And why am I so scared?" The first bothers me because it feels as if there are too many lyrics jumbled into that portion of the music. Perhaps it would have been better to simplify it like "I can feel them how they call to me / but who they are I cannot see" The second part bothers me because you're basically repeating the same statement. You have already acknowledged that your body is full of fear so it's clear you are scared. There's no real reason to bring it up again. Maybe instead the second set of lyrics could be Link trying to convince himself that he shouldn't be afraid since he's a hero. Something as simple as "I shouldn't be so scared." But still..this is amazing!

The lyrics are not by me. I mentioned it in the title and in the description. The lyrics are by MonkeyDRuffy. I'm just the singer. I just took her lyrics and sang them. I've got lots of comments that tell me how these lyrics are strange or not that good but its no use telling me as I did not write them.

I remember my older brother listening to this non-stop when I was younger. I hadn't played or even known about Legend of Zelda at this point. Some years later my brother got me to play Legend if Zelda Ocarina of Time and I fell in love emidantly! I got to the Gerudo part of the game and I recognized the melody and I went 'havent I heard this before?' So I searched it up with lyrics. I recognized the photo as the photo in the version my brother used to play. After listening to it my brother came and told me taht was the song he always played. Fun lil story XD

That's true, I had to look for a slower version of the melody because the original was just to fast. The problem is, that people try to write lyrics that fit to the rhythm of the melody. That makes singing almost impossible... And thanks :D

The Gerudo are very honorable, only Ganondorf is dishonorable. Gerudoes themselves do not steal from children or helpless people. They also note others skill.

I want to thank you for your comment. This actually just made my day so much better. :D Some people don't read the description. I don't blame them. I'm not reading every single one of them either but here it's even mentioned in the title. Maybe they didn't notice it. If the singing is good it doesn't matter what you sing about. You could as well sing about cows falling down the sky and nobody would care. I mean the lyrics aren't touching or anything. They are telling something about the Gerudos.

I think people are just too superficial and look at it as another Zelda game or another Nintendo game but they just don't know what's behind every single thing in the story or characters. I didn't do any of the Zelda stuff because I wanted to look like a nerdy girl or something. Of course I've played the games. The reason I did it is because I think the music in Zelda is just wonderful. I thought I could express it the best by singing to it and I tried my best.
