The charge is placed in between centre of two edges ( edge centre). So to make this as a centre point added two cubes upper and one cube adjacent to it. Now it is 4 cubes making one large cube with charge centre.flux from large cube one side is q/6eo but the question is flux from the one side of the small cube so it is q/12eo

This is another method of doing these kinda questions..If you take total flux as q/8 epsilon then to get flux through each phase divide it by three...cuz on placing a charge on corner make flux on three phases....like a cctv😂it can't make flux on three phases which the charge have contact..

Edge center means middle of one of the edge of cube , to bring it to center u will construct 2 on top and 2 on bottom total 4 cubes , and the opposite side will contain 2 faces so you will get q/6€x2 =q/12€ @@Anyaforger0505
