Thank you for talking about this. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 ER/PR+ Her2- lobular breast cancer with 43 lymph nodes affected, at 38 weeks pregnant, after weeks of being pushy with my GP about changes in my breast. I never had a lump. One breast just started getting heavier, and harder, then the inverted nipple, all of which was dismissed as being pregnancy related. Then I got VERY pushy and finally got an ultrasound. I knew it was bad when the technician called in someone immediately for a biopsy, then diagnoses. At the time my oncologist told me my case was rare, but I didn’t appreciate just how rare it is. With the diagnoses coming so late in the pregnancy, I was induced a week later and then started treatment: mastectomy, ACT chemo, radiation, then hormone blockers and acceptance into the Natalee Trial for 3 years of Kisqali, which I’m just one month away from finishing. Having a newborn and a toddler while undergoing chemo and radiation is extremely difficult. But we managed, and I’m now almost 4 years NED. There’s not a lot of evidence at the moment. I think she was being over cautious. Oestrogen doesn’t cause breast cancer

I recently took up the hobby of casting epoxy resin to make holiday gifts, and then I read about _uncured_ (liquid) epoxy hazards, the xenohormones (something called xenoestrogen) can impact our androgens if inhaled or touched. The hardeners, the thing that makes our plastics solid are _supposed_ contributors to HR+ cancers due to environmental whatnot. TLDR: I didn't realize I was working with industrial chemicals when I began.
