Console version of world of tanks beginner tips showing how you can improve and get better. The tips are from my own experiences on xbox wot console and apply to all the world of tanks versions!

World of tanks console is a free game for playstation and xbox and this guide/tips aim at showing new player (beginners) how to play better and improve to increase winrates and results when they play on their console. My tips are mainly console related but can still be applied to world of tanks on pc but is far more relevant to ps4 and xbox console players since it uses equipment and perks on console since the new update that came in before christmas. I try to highlight tips that will favour most players and although quite broad they should work well for most tankers and tanks that you will ever play on world of tanks both console and pc aswell as showing you what playstyles should be adopted to improve at the tank game we all love so well.
I've tried to make the tips in this beginners video for world of tanks helpful for all involved and that it works for future updates that may come in to world of tanks ps4 and wot xbox as part of the longevity of the video. Great video as all of your content tends to be. One thing I would like to see, from more content creators not just yourself is some beginner content that utilizes lower tier tanks and advancing through the mid tiers more. I see a lot of beginner videos and it's usually showing off all these tier 8 and higher tanks. I feel like I angle ok but in tier 3 through 5 German lines I feel like everything I drive is just wet paper and it's hard to get through the lines in decent time to get to those higher tiers. I'm probably stubborn and should not be in the German lines as a learning player but enjoy the look of them. I've made it to tier 5 in a VK heavy and it's much better than the D.W2 but still does not feel "heavy"

I love using the VK as well. Youre right, it doesnt feel heavy, but when you hit someone in the bollocks with that 88 theyll think youre heavy.

I really could use a tutorial on how the vision system works in this game. There are a lot of moments when i just sit in bush and suddenly i am spotted without having shot or moved at all. I also dont know what the circles on the minimap actually mean and so far i haven't found an explanation.

@@Quadroflix_Humixerum if your sitting in a bush adequate for concealment thats good until an enemy player is so close to you that you will be proximity spotted in any case

Yes it was a helpful video. I've been playing the game for 4 years, but not on a regular basis due to work commitments. When i come back you forget the things you should be doing and for me this was a good refresher and to focus on certain areas. Well done.

#4 is the way to go when you are low tier in +2/-2 😉 #3 is most important in my opinion. People should learn how to absorb incoming red tanks. In general attackers move too fast or too much and defenders often are too static but in general i see some improvement. Very good educational material in this video 👍

Hey, Jonny! Welcome! I remember starting out and becoming totally overwhelmed at times, and thinking that I would never be any good at the game! Now, 3 1/2 years and 30,000 battles later I still suck... but not nearly as badly or as often as I used to! Like anything in life, the more ya do it, the better ya get at it! I just want to encourage you to keep on keeping on... it'll get better, I promise! I wish I'd known about KZfaq channels like this one when I was starting! But then, to be honest, there weren't a lot of them out there at the time, and many of them were produced by 5-year veterans (or higher) playing on (and producing videos for) PC... very few vids for PS players, and even fewer for brand new rookies! So, you already have a *huge* advantage over me when I started, and I'm quite sure that it will help you immensely! Hang in there, bro... See you on the battlefield!

All you need to be good is spam premium buy premium tanks and always rush the first 2 min that way your team knows where the enemy tanks are.I almost forgot if playing heavy tanks always camp at the back that way if your team fails you can hold the position by yourself 👍

Brilliantly done, great vid for beginners. Glad u mentioned to view weak spots of tanks in the garage. U didn't mention turret rings as a weak spot on some tanks. Sometimes HE can be used on some tracks. 💪👍

@@EcliipseHD if you seen QuickBaby's vid that mentioned firing shot at the ground right underneath bottom plate of the tank, some mentioned console too.. Setting American and British tanks on fire is good to know, and British tanks that have ammo racks on front of their hull too etc etc.. keep well well fella...

Hello Eclipse, I was wondering if you could do a stream or two where you play with viewers and give them personalized advice. This comes from me knowing a hand full of your advice in this video and still not having a win rate I am satisfied with. I know I have stuff to improve on but idk what.

learning the maps is by far the most important of these tips, imo. I'd add play with the replay mode so you can freely explore the battlefields. Any advice for bad shots? I can't shoot straight but i can drive zig zags😎 One other thing, the handbrake is useful, even for heavies

The biggest thing no one told me , is put the crew you want in the reg. Tank, then you can move him to all your premium tanks of same type and country to train them much faster! Its free to transfer to premium tanks then free to bring them back to the original tank.

This works if they don't get the RNG advantage. WOT said they were looking at reducing it. There is nothing worse than out maneuvering a tank one on one only to have it bounce odd the side with a premium round, or they just "happen" to take out your turret ring as you're circling.

Win rate and wn8 etc takes forever to have in the purple. It doesnt happen overnight and what i suggest people do is to pick a tank they like to play and try 3 mark it. That way you have a goal to work towards a visible one too wich will also improve your overral stats.

If I was a beginner this video would be TMI. New players do not have enough silver to use premium consumables. Show them how to play from scratch with 1 crew skill and basic consumables. Rename this video to Intermediate because it did help me.

Imo as long as multi player mm, rng is controlled by the algorithms of this game individual win rate is useful but not totally objective in determining a quality player. MM may also be weighted unfairly which contributes to win/loss rate. Not saying these internal factors “are” controlled by WOTC to affect outcomes just saying they have the “potential” for control. I would like to see a spread sheet on the win rate of paying players versus those who play for free to see if that variable has any bearing on the players win/loss performance. With the recent admission by WOTC that they can control the rng of “new” players up to 100 games the idea that internal algorithms can potentially be manipulated by WOTC contributes to the pay to play question.

I think you get charged silver/gold for premium rounds whether you shoot them or not, so don't go overboard with the number of premium rounds you add to the loadout.

Yeah I noticed that, right now I restock them my self, it's a lot cheaper, the game say it, but doesn't really, it's like they want hide it so you buy more often gold,(Which I wouldn't doubt), It's same with consumables, which is ridiculous, I don't put money on the game, neither I am a great player as I do stupid moves time to time, so I only use silver repair/med kit,

Yeah they never really tell you that I was keeping premium on some of my tanks just in case I needed it like 15 rds and the rest regular and he then noticed I was losing money even if I had a good game lol

Right now I'm just using a Russian tank destroyer, a German medium tank and one american heavy tank. Why? Because of the trophies that need you to get tier X tanks for those three factions.

How come after 12:57 you didn’t capture objective? Only 1 enemy left in a 2v1, which is an arty, why hunt him down instead of just winning? New player, so genuinely asking.

I couldve capped to get the victory, but I always prefer damage and killing to win. I will if I think I won't be able to win if I don't cap but I knew I had the advantage in the situation due to my view range and using cover etc to keep myself undetectable in the positions where the arty would've been.

Also if the arty poked me in the cap and reversed back away he could kill me without me seeing him. You also get more xp by dealing damage, killing tanks and helps with marks of Excellence too

(Probably a lot more than having a decent game means to the smug schmucks who are used to winning all the time!) Also, I couldn't possibly give a rat's rumpus what my win-to-loss ratio is, or any of those other stats that so many players seem to obsess over! I just play the game, I do the best I can, and I have fun doing it! I mean, after all, World of Tanks is a friggin' *GAME* ... right? Anyway, loved your comment! Thanks for sharing! All the best!
