Can we use direct query ?so that we can put filter selection for parameter, based on selection the table will change dynamically will this work? because for import mode it is not flexible like filter selection when we publish the report. Can you pls answer it

No. slicers concept is different from Parameters

If the parameter is an integer type and not varchar then how value will be given to the Exec GetEmployeePer. It's showing me Invalid Literal while giving the value as 2 or '2' or ,"2".

We can't apply this parameterized SP in PowerBI Service, it applies only for desktop

is this taking all data out of DWH and store in your laptop's memory ? i guess performance is a big problem if you scale up ?

@@AnalyticswithNags see in the video we can see that we are able to change parameter according to our condition. If we want to provide this feature to user how can we do that since in power BI desktop that parameter option is available but in user end it is not

How to call oracle stored procedure from power bi. It is showing error like "Oracle: ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement" while trying to call simple procedure without parameters.

Select "Import" option in Data connection mode whle connecting SQL server. See 2.17 part of this video carefully...I hope it will solve your error

usage depends on the requirements , some cases can be achieved by both so can by only done by one.
