I just love how relatable, down to earth, sassy and funny Iggy is. The industry is so hard on her bc she’s a white woman rapping, yet we have Eminem and some other white male rappers that are highly praised. Love you Iggy.

I think the thing with Eminem is he never emulated black men as far as I’ve seen. He’s always done his own thing and looked how he looks and isn’t towing the line of trying to be someone else. In general because of wigs and costuming women rappers transform a lot more than men. Iggy has been under fire for black fishing and while it may not be the case in the music video they were talking about, she’s been under fire for it for years. That said I love Iggy with who she is today, but I think she should be aware of how certain visuals portray her. She has final say with how the video turns out so she could have been like wait I look crazy in this scene 😅

i saw Iggy live a few years ago. i had NO idea how she was going to be live. i was so pleasantly surprised. she was so lively and FUN. to this day it was one of my favorite concerts i’ve ever been to. it’s so sad she’s leaving music, but i support whatever she does from here on out no matter what! i truly cannot find a single thing not to love about Iggy.

I live in Brisbane (Australia) and one day my friend and I drove to Azalea St. in Mullumbimby whilst listening to Work by Iggy… it was an iconic moment I will never forget. Mullumbimby is such a beautiful town.. so close to Byron Bay and underrated but i guess i also understand they may not want that much exposure and at this point to me is one of the Northern Rivers hidden gems. I love Iggy so much.. The New Classic helped me so much to cope with the cultural change when i moved to Australia. I used to always think “no money, no family, 18 in the middle of Brisbane” and look up to Iggy for making it so far ❤️ forever iconic, I’m so proud of her!
