those were the original chromas! they had names and everything. (rebel caitlyn, cursed cassiopiea, Nobel garen, etc.) when chromas became more favored and varied, the extra tags got dropped sadly.

because that was just the name of the chroma set. Cassiopeia Curse set, Morgana Haunt set, Zac Sweet, etc.

they don't show in the skins owned section because they're not skins they are chromas for the base champ which is not considered a skin

That is true. However, why not just have a "Chromas I can buy" button. Because there are literally hundreds of chromas I cannot buy if I select "Champ Owned + Available for BE" -> completely unusable

If you look for "Champion Owned" and "Available for BE", you get shown these chromas as well. It's not a matter of them being "hidden". They're there. You just selected "Skin Owned" and since it's not a skin, they get filtered out.

when you own every champion, most people are probably going to turn on skin owned because otherwise you get like 60% skins that arent owned

I bought the "Zac Sweet" chromas when they came out because Zac was the exception where his spells get ofc changed too when he has a different color.

I have almost every morg skin but I often find myself using “haunt morgana” that’s the base skin but a greyish white. I think it fits her better than even ghost bride.

I really think all champions should get base skin chromas in the same quality current chromas are now. There are some champs where I like the base skin more than any skins they have. This wouldn’t work for every champion I suppose. But maybe just 3 chromas that still fit into their theme.

ye the bard chromas look really bad. all his spells are still the same color and his hue is just changed and it looks awful

sadly, in vietnam they are not sold as separated chromas but instead as a 1.5USD bundle for each champ

It's the same in the US. You can see that he showed it at 0:47 with each chromas packs cost 590rp. It was separated because it was in the Blue Essence Emporium so they sold them as 1000 BE each instead.

they don't appear cause it's like an AND, not an OR, so if you put both champion and skin you own, both sentences matches with skin chromas, not champion chromas, you have to only mark champions you own so the filter matches up with those chromas.

I never will buy a blitz skin cuz I'm not that good at him, but sometimes when I need to play it, I got these blue and red chromas for the base skin, that is basically an old skin, like green malphite, still mad I got that one from a reroll cuz it's basically a skin like those but for 10x the rp

You have to tick Champion Owned & Available for Blue Essence since they technically are no skin chromas.

actually, because you list as "skin owned" it shows only for SKINS you OWN, a champion classic skin isnt considered a skin. so you kinda put a criteria they dont meet when you put it on "skin owned". If you tag "available for blue essence" then they will appear, because they meet that criteria.

Since you check skin owned, that's why it doesn't show, because that is not a skin, it is the base skin, if you check only available for blue essence, it will show :)

those were like the first chromas when they were added. Pink zac is still the best one out of them all xD Would like to see more base skin Chromas though, maybe even just sell those for BE at all times since they are just colour swaps :D
